These are pretty solid work shoes. I have had a pair now for a few years and they are still going strong. My work gives us all an allowance for work shoes/boots and I bought another pair of these because they 're so dependable. But to be honest, the pair I currently have do n't really need replacing yet. They 're still holding up just fine. No tears, rips, or weak points. The leather is thick and has held up very well over the years. The tread is wearing slowly as well. On top of all that, they are comfortable. These have a lot of years of service left in them. I think the only way these can be improved is by reducing the weight. I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. My feet we ’ re slightly damp standing in torrential down pours for my job but after what I was in I doubt any boot is that waterproof…. They are starting to wear out though. I mean I do put them through rough stuff but I don ’ t expect these to last 6 months in the toughest of conditions.

Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They 've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I 've ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.
