This has been every single thing that I needed for my plantar fasciitis. I have tried baseballs and a frozen water bottle, but this? Works wonders. I used it every single day, even though it hurt like nobody's business and within a matter of weeks? No more pain. I was very skeptical about buying this at first because I mainly use ice when doing cold therapy on my ankle. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how this compression boot was able to properly ice my ankle! It was almost like having ice on it! I am a basketball player who works out 5- 7 times a week and I 've had multiple ankle injuries. This compression boot does a great job of icing everything from the mid calf down to the sides of the ankle. It does not have an ice pack going under the bottom foot part though in case anyone was wondering. HOWEVER!! Be very careful when icing with this! I accidentally did not put one of the ice packs all the way into the inner sleeve of the compression boot and I iced for 20 minutes with part of the ice pack in direct contact of my skin. Because of this I got mild ice pack burn!! It is n't that painful but I can imagine it would have been much worse if I had continued icing past 20 minutes! While there are protective sleeves inside the boot to hold the ice pack, it's important not to ice for over 20 minutes because you can end up getting an ice pack burn! This is because ice packs stay cooler longer than ice and is colder than it ice is too! That is my little tidbit of advice for anyone buying this! But overall I 'd definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an easier icing session and it's one of the best investments I 've made!

[ Hyperice gave me this product free to try! X2 Shoulder so far for me has been good to test. I have a shoulder injury that I ’ m dealing with. After I workout I immediately throw on the X2 and I start a contrasting 20min session. I wish the cold would be colder but the heat is great! Almost too hot for me but I ’ m glad it ’s adjustable. The compression I don ’ t feel has done to much. I wish the lower strap for the arm was larger. I have to have it as far out as possible and then it fits well. A little more space would be nice. The battery life on the x2 I think is great! I got plenty of sessions on one full charge. The buzz of the machine specifically while the cold sessions are going are not intrusive. It took a couple sessions to get used to it but ultimately it isn ’ t horribly loud. I would equate it to an oscillating fan. Often times I also take the X2 to work with me and I can use it while I ’ m sitting at my desk. My coworkers haven ’ t complained about the noise. One random thing is that it takes a bit to get used to the added width! Watch out for doorways!

[ I used this while training for a triathlon, both after swimming and after cycling. I especially noticed help in my left shoulder that I had shoulder surgery 10 years ago, though I found benefit in both. The hot and cold both work well. I definitely feel the cold a bit more than the heat. It will be great when the app is updated so the x2 can sync and it can be on a longer cycle instead of the shorter 10 minute manual setting. The `` compression '' feels like it is more to keep in temperature/keep it stable, it does not give any sort of compression like the Normatec equipment. Maybe if you were a body builder it would be different. I got to test pre and post injury. It does fit over a cast, although it takes a partner to put it on for me at this stage of recovery. It definitely helps my shoulder when I wake up now.

I bought this for my daughter knee after her soccer games. The machine works well. It has a hot and cold mode with the compression. It is a little bulky and can be difficult to flex when the brace is in place. Also, it will tend to slide down when standing. It is overall a good machine, but a bit pricy for what you get.

[ I use compression boots almost every evening as a recovery tool, this was my first experience with a heating and cooling element- and a more specific area tool. First off the fit is excellent and highly adjustable. It comes with extenders if needed, but the overall size and build is perfect for my knee/leg. The Velcro is easy to adjust even while in use and overall easy to use. The settings are easy and intuitive, you can select compression level as well as cooling and heating preferences. I ’ ve used both on all settings and will use both for one recovery session. I ’ ve used before and after a workout and honestly love it for both, will most likely use it more after a workout or run- but would be open to using it before if I have pain or knee issue. Overall, I would recommend this and feel like it will be a game changer to help with my training. The heating and cooling alongside the compression makes all the difference. I plan to use this as well as my standard compression boots. This is hyper localized, and considering I ’ ve had knee issues in the past I see this being a big help keeping me healthy and able to continue movement.

This week, I 've gone on a ruck march, walked 18 holes of golf, weight trained, and have been elk hunting. Each day I had some level of soreness and the Hyperice X2 Knee has been great to reduce, and sometimes eliminate the soreness afterwards. It feels good to use the device. The adjustable pressure level is great for comfort. The only trouble I 've had is getting it to connect with the Bluetooth. Have n't been able to make that happen yet. [ I have several herniated discs in my back. I have tried to a of topical creams just to take the edge of the pain away. I feel like this Tiger Balm really did help. It gave a nice icy hot sensation that was almost too much but then I realized my pain was not near as bad. I give 5/5 it did work. It also comes in a cool tin container with great branding. The smell is pretty strong but I think it is refreshing and minty.

[ I was skeptical as I was comfortable with another product as my go- to pain relieving ointment but Tiger Balm works surprisingly great. The menthol scent is a bit strong but I 'm familiar with that as my prior go- to smells similar. The difference however is in the warming sensation I get from tiger balm and it's long lasting effect. The relief is almost instant and I do n't have to keep re- applying. Plus, it does n't stain my clothes. I 'm definitely going to keep using it.
