Great alternative to foam rolling. I use this at the end of the day if my legs, arms, shoulders or neck are sore from my workout or just the day. It is great because it has slight pressure on its own but you can add even more but pressing in as you are rolling. I personally think it is a great alternative to foam rolling and if you are n't quite ready to purchase a massage gun. I would not recommend it for someone that has a low pain tolerance.

This has been every single thing that I needed for my plantar fasciitis. I have tried baseballs and a frozen water bottle, but this? Works wonders. I used it every single day, even though it hurt like nobody's business and within a matter of weeks? No more pain. It could have been a combination of this and a good orthotic insert for my shoes, but I think this had a huge part in it. This is worth every single penny in my opinion to help with foot pain like plantar fasciitis. This thing is AWESOME. For whatever reason I developed foot pain that occurred in the mornings. It ’s cost effective for sure, but that wasn ’ t my deciding factor. The shorter length of the bar allows me to use more torque on my quads without it bending like some of the others did. It gave a nice icy hot sensation that was almost too much but then I realized my pain was not near as bad. I give 5/5 it did work. It also comes in a cool tin container with great branding. [ I was skeptical as I was comfortable with another product as my go- to pain relieving ointment but Tiger Balm works surprisingly great. The menthol scent is a bit strong but I 'm familiar with that as my prior go- to smells similar. The difference however is in the warming sensation I get from tiger balm and it's long lasting effect. The relief is almost instant and I do n't have to keep re- applying. Plus, it does n't stain my clothes. I 'm definitely going to keep using it.

A trainer of mine several years ago suggested a trigger point ball for areas that are difficult to target with a foam roller. I thought about just getting a tennis ball. I did n't think this little ball could be so beneficial, but it most certainly has been. I 've used it on the side of my shoulder and around my shoulder blades in my back. The ball has different colors of foam that give a little more than others. You can target the pressure differently depending on how you position the ball.

I was searching online on ways to reduce muscle soreness and loosen my tight muscles and found out about foam rollers. I spoke to a colleague of mine who was a cross fit instructor and also recommended on. I previously bought one made just out of foam and did n't find it effective. It was too mushy and I could n't feel it working. But this trigger point grid x really worked well! I can feel it deep in my muscle tissue. My range of motion and recovery seemed to improved as well! I highly recommend this to anyone who has a thicker body as opposed to a thinner body due to the hardness of this roller. Also research on YouTube for foam roller videos so you can correctly perform them.
