Great alternative to foam rolling. I use this at the end of the day if my legs, arms, shoulders or neck are sore from my workout or just the day. It is great because it has slight pressure on its own but you can add even more but pressing in as you are rolling. I personally think it is a great alternative to foam rolling and if you are n't quite ready to purchase a massage gun. I would not recommend it for someone that has a low pain tolerance.

This has been every single thing that I needed for my plantar fasciitis. I have tried baseballs and a frozen water bottle, but this? Works wonders. I used it every single day, even though it hurt like nobody's business and within a matter of weeks? No more pain. It could have been a combination of this and a good orthotic insert for my shoes, but I think this had a huge part in it. This thing is AWESOME. For whatever reason I developed foot pain that occurred in the mornings. I REALLY like the metal barrel and the weight of it which helps while it's being rolled over your skin, because you do n't have to use much of your own pressure, that's what makes this product stand out from other rollers. I have used other rollers( including other metal rollers) that do n't glide well, catch your skin or kills you with knobs over your sore muscles and brushing them. I am an endurance runner and over time, I have built up somewhat of an immunity to regular entry level foam rollers and have been looking for something more intense to achieve the results I am looking for, both pre and post workouts. The GoFit Extreme Massage Roller was exactly what I was looking for. It is great combination of firm foam, but not too firm. It is an aggressive roller, but not too aggressive. There are other `` aggressive '' rollers on the market that I have tried that are either too firm or too bumpy. It is also the perfect size. This is a great way to work out those pesky pains. It is portable and travels in my backpack or suitcase. I like it so much that I gave one to my Physical Therapist. Read the instructions that come with it, but you can invent your own ways to use it like I did. I looked at all the other items that try to do the same thing. [ I was skeptical as I was comfortable with another product as my go- to pain relieving ointment but Tiger Balm works surprisingly great. The menthol scent is a bit strong but I 'm familiar with that as my prior go- to smells similar. The difference however is in the warming sensation I get from tiger balm and it's long lasting effect. The relief is almost instant and I do n't have to keep re- applying. Plus, it does n't stain my clothes. I 'm definitely going to keep using it.

I did n't think this little ball could be so beneficial, but it most certainly has been. I 've used it on the side of my shoulder and around my shoulder blades in my back.
