I have owned this for a month now and I ’ m very happy I chose it. There are several options for massage bars, but this one struck all the correct chords. It ’s cost effective for sure, but that wasn ’ t my deciding factor. The shorter length of the bar allows me to use more torque on my quads without it bending like some of the others did. It ’s compact size it a alot more travel friendly when needed.

Awesome massage bar! I 'm a 5k- 10k runner, and I use this massage bar when warming up for a run( rolling our my calves)& as a recovery tool when I get back from runs. It's great, you do n't have to apply lots of pressure to feel it working. And watch out for applying too much( it can cause bruising). So many friends have tried it out and loved it.! Would defiantly recommend if your a runner!

Superb roller. We searched a lot, tried several at local stores. This roller is just right: gentle enough not to hurt; yet very solid.

I really have never used a foam roller but I wanted to speed up being sore after working out. It is firm and definitely more firm than the Styrofoam ones at the gym but its not nearly as firm as the reviews made me believe. Its really nice if you want more pressure, just adjust how much weight you are putting on it. I like the length, its perfect for my back and legs without having to move it as much. I noticed a big improvement in my recovery time and ive even started doing it a little before I exercise. The best part is comes with a manual that fits inside the hollow center that gives a bunch of foam rolling exercises and stretches! Click YES if this review was helpful. If you have a question, leave a comment and I 'll answer you! Feedback helps me improve my review! Thank you!!!

I bought the larger size this time, to replace a smaller and original hollow one I had to leave when moving to another state. There is nothing that matches this product for me- but I use it differently, in my massage practice. The softer density allows me to press into a muscle( covered by a sheet of course) and allow the muscle to relax and lengthen. It also helps connective tissue( fascia) to release and glide back into place, and I can feel the direction and tempo of how the layers of tissue want to release. Because it's like a large thumbprint it can gently sink in( I never use it as a roller- instead I press and sometimes twist); it distributes the pressure, so that it causes less pain but really gets the job done. This has saved me from thumb and shoulder injury! The original lasted me at least 2 years. I 'm not crazy about the `` fins '', but understand the supportive construction. I will never be without one of these for myofascial release as long as I practice massage therapy. Definite thumbs up!

Where do I begin with this roller...? I am an endurance runner and over time, I have built up somewhat of an immunity to regular entry level foam rollers and have been looking for something more intense to achieve the results I am looking for, both pre and post workouts. The GoFit Extreme Massage Roller was exactly what I was looking for. It is great combination of firm foam, but not too firm. It is an aggressive roller, but not too aggressive. There are other `` aggressive '' rollers on the market that I have tried that are either too firm or too bumpy. It is also the perfect size. This `` jewel '' is 13- inches and at this size, it allows me to easily travel from race to race with it. It is the perfect travel companion and when times get tough like it did this past weekend, when I was stuck in an airport overnight due to my flight being cancelled, it also works great as a pillow... In all seriousness, I wish I would have found this roller years ago. I feel like a new man due to this product, even after the toughest and longest runs.

Bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. It's definitely a little harder than some of the rollers that I 've used before but it's made well and gets the job done. The training book is a nice addition.

This one definitely `` gets the job done ''! If you 're starting out with massage rollers, you might hold back on this one for a bit; it's pretty brutal.

This is a great way to work out those pesky pains. It is portable and travels in my backpack or suitcase. I like it so much that I gave one to my Physical Therapist. Read the instructions that come with it, but you can invent your own ways to use it like I did. I looked at all the other items that try to do the same thing. But this one has a unique pattern that really simulates what a Physical Therapist does with precise localized pressure. It has helped me with sever back pain over the last 12 months. Now I just use it for a quick fix from time to time.

This thing is amazing! I had some really bad muscle cramping in my back and this took care of it. It is super strong and light. It's like they took high strength aluminum and put a hard plastic shell over it. I bought this review after looking up some massage techniques online for forearm and shoulder soreness from pitching in baseball. I started using a la crosse ball and it works great for pressure but not so much for deep tissue massaging. This massage ball helps move around the tissue and I really feel a massage with less pressure. I highly recommend this in addition to a la crosse ball. You will not be disappointed.

At first I was hesitant to pay money for a piece of foam but after trying one of these rollers out at my yoga studio I had to buy one. There are very few ways to get a good IT band stretch without one of these rollers and always finding new ways to use this thing. Basicaly any way you use it you 'll be stretching muscles you did n't even know you had! Plus it's really cute so I keep it laying around in the apartment.

I really like this product! It works very well against my muscles. It rolls easily and I like how the edges are raised a little wider so it can dig in a little more in muscle groups. I REALLY like the metal barrel and the weight of it which helps while it's being rolled over your skin, because you do n't have to use much of your own pressure, that's what makes this product stand out from other rollers. I have used other rollers( including other metal rollers) that do n't glide well, catch your skin or kills you with knobs over your sore muscles and brushing them. I would n't hesitate in purchasing this product, you will love it!

Bibliophile1963
Recommended by my physical therapist. It ’s sturdy to withstand pushing& pulling force and has enough weight to help with pressure. It ’s well shaped for its purpose and the handles are strong and comfortable in the hand. The freezer is fine, but I find I like mine better and it stays cold just as long if I keep it in the fridge instead.

A trainer of mine several years ago suggested a trigger point ball for areas that are difficult to target with a foam roller. I thought about just getting a tennis ball. I did n't think this little ball could be so beneficial, but it most certainly has been. I 've used it on the side of my shoulder and around my shoulder blades in my back. Good black foam roller. Inexpensive and in size I wanted. Had used blue roller for about a year before this and needed something firmer. This is not for someone who is new to foam rolling as it would be too firm for them.

DadBob
On the advice of my chiropractor I bought this roller. It is the only roller I have owned or used, but people who have used both this one and others have said it's just about as firm as they come. I have used it about 4x per week for the last 10 months, averaging about 40 minutes per session. For all that use it shows no signs of wear or softening. Yes, the material is lightweight, but it's very durable and firm; its weight makes it easy to use and has no disadvantages I can think of. A big bonus with this roller is the instruction booklet that's included. It's printed on heavy card stock and is spiral bound, making it both durable and easy to use, since you can lay it flat on the floor for reference while you roll out. The booklet covers the basics; if you 're serious about rolling, you 'll probably go beyond that, but it was very helpful for this newbie. Before buying this roller I had monthly sessions with a massage therapist to alleviate pain& stiffness in my IT bands and hips. After I started using this roller I found no need to return to the therapist, so it has saved me money and allowed me to get massaged on my own schedule. A solid 5 stars for this product.

Phenomenal range of options for applied pressure- excellent tool for trigger points in the calves, quads, forearms, upper arms. Not necessarily great for those with low pain tolerance unless they ’ re dealing with minor tissue problems that don ’ t require additional pressure

Great alternative to foam rolling. I use this at the end of the day if my legs, arms, shoulders or neck are sore from my workout or just the day. It is great because it has slight pressure on its own but you can add even more but pressing in as you are rolling. I personally think it is a great alternative to foam rolling and if you are n't quite ready to purchase a massage gun. I would not recommend it for someone that has a low pain tolerance.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Game Changer for Recovery and Muscle Tension Relief! I ’ ve used several foam rollers over the years, but this one stands out! The firmness is just right — not too soft, not too brutal — and it holds its shape even after daily use. Whether I ’ m targeting sore muscles after a workout or just trying to loosen up after sitting all day, this roller gets the job done. The textured surface really helps dig into tight spots, and it ’s lightweight enough to take on the go. If you ’ re on the fence, don ’ t be. Your muscles will thank you.

I bought this for my husband who is a runner and lately is having some back problems. The foam roller came with a DVD on how to use showing appropriate methods. The first couple of uses are a little painful, but that's because he was working out the kinks in his muscles. After using this for a couple of months, his back is much better and he is only using it a couple times a week now instead of every day.

Love it. I would recommend it. Excellent recovery tool for post- workout soreness. Deep tissue performance is strong, and the attachments help target different muscle groups effectively

[ I ’ ve been using this massage gun regularly during my training, and it ’s been a huge help with post run recovery. The variety of head attachments makes it easy to target different muscle groups, but my go to is definitely the heated attachment, it ’s a game changer. The charge time is quick, the battery life lasts a long time, and the ergonomics are comfortable even during longer sessions. The variable speed settings make it easy to dial in exactly what each spot needs. It also comes with a really nice travel/storage case, which is a great bonus.

[ This is a game changer! The Hypervolt 3 Pro has been an integral part of my warm up and cool down routine ever since receiving it. I have a LONG history of muscular injuries so this helps me prep them before a big lift, long run, or climbing session, but most importantly, I use this to aid in recovery. This model features a heated attachment which feels incredible on sore or tweaky muscles. I use it just about every day, and I have to pretty much fight my family for it. I would recommend this to any athlete, especially if you suffer from tight/stiff muscles or have a history of soft tissue injuries! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[ I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I ’ ve been using the Hypervolt 3 Pro mostly after long rides, interval sessions, and gym days. As a competitive cyclist training multiple times a week, recovery is huge for me — and this has quickly become part of my routine. The heated head is honestly my favorite feature. The added heat makes a noticeable difference compared to a regular massage gun. Before workouts, it helps loosen up my quads and glutes so I feel more ready to go. After hard sessions, the heat+ percussion feels deeper and more relaxing, especially on tight calves and hip flexors. It ’s powerful but still easy to control, and I like that it doesn ’ t stall out when you apply pressure. I definitely feel less stiff the next day when I use it consistently. I ’ d recommend this to endurance athletes, runners, cyclists, or anyone training hard and wanting better recovery. The heated attachment really sets it apart.

[ I 'll start off by saying that I am a distance runner. I run a couple marathons each year and have gone as far as a 50 mile ultra. I am in my late 40's so recovery is very important to me if I want to be able to continue with long distance running. I have also never used a pro grade massage gun like this regularly before. I spent a lot of time with the mini version of a big name massage gun before and a few amazon brands. All that said, the Hyperice Hypervolt 3 Pro has blown my mind! The biggest thing that I love and can not get over is the power this guy packs! On level one( of six) it packs a heck of a punch. Level six is incredibly fast and yet, relatively quiet. The device seems very well built. When I hold it in my hand I feel like I am holding a well- crafted, heavy duty, powerful machine. It feels and looks good in- hand. The light band on the bottom looks good but doubles as a highly visible battery indicator. The matte finish on the body seems resistant to fingerprints and still looks great after about a month of use. A feature I really appreciate is that the power and speed controls are separate. The benefit there is that you can turn it on without the massage feature starting right away. With most others I have used, as soon as you hit “ Power ” the massage gun starts oscillating. This one will power on with a button, then you turn the dial to the speed you want. I also got the heated head for my Hypervolt 3 Pro. This has added another element to my recovery, heat. I wasn ’ t sure whether it would make a difference or not, and I still can ’ t say it is a game- changer, but it does feel good while massaging. The heated attachment is also very simple to use. You press and hold the power button to turn it on, then a single press of the same button will cycle through the heat levels. I primarily use the Hypervolt 3 Pro for recovery and I do think it makes a difference. I was struggling with hamstring issues( for forever it seems) and the HV3 Pro, along with my Physiologist ’s help, are getting me to a much better place. I use the HV3 Pro 4- 5 times per week, primarily after my runs as I ramp up my training for my April 26th marathon. My only gripes about this massage gun are minor, but I feel like they are very valid. First, why the barrel plug charger? Why not USB Type C? My laptop, phones, tablets, headphones, earbuds, portable monitor, and most battery powered devices I own are Type C. I really dislike when companies utilize proprietary charging ports, eh- hem… Lightning, and less standard ports like the barrel style the HV3 Pro uses. I have other Hyperice products that use this same barrel style charger so this one is not a unicorn, but USB Type C would be so much better. My second gripe is wishing it came with a ball attachment. That one is not as big of a deal because I can get one for it and all is good. Overall I love the Hypervolt 3 Pro. It is helping me step up my recovery game and become a better, healthier runner!
$249.00
The attachments are fantastic. ... Moving from 3 speeds on the Hypervolt 2 to 5 speeds on the Hypervolt 3 gives significantly more control. ... The included heads allow for treatment of different muscle groups and the heated head was way more noticeable than I thought it would

This massager is amazing. It syncs with the phone and connects you to video for different messages. It also has a lot of heads that can be used on different muscles. Over this was the best purchase I have made. The power is great as well. I have only had it on level two and there are 5 levels. Has helped tremendously.

[ I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoy this product. Comes with a nice carrying case that holds the five attachments. The machine is virtually silent( obviously still makes noise), but in comparison to a previous model, pretty sure if was the first version, the sound level is night and day. I really like the pyramid/pointy part for pinpoint massage. The heated attachment is probably my favorite. Gets nice and warm and feels good with warming up. Machine works well for warm up/primer activities. Has an app that you can connect to, which has great warm up and cool down routines, and if you connect to the garmin app it can recommend programs. Overall I ’ d recommend it, easy to travel with, feels good, easy recovery modality, but if you need deep soft tissue work, I ’ d go massage over the machine.

Tommy P
[ Took the new Hypervolt 3 on a buddy ski trip to Taos for the weekend. All four of us were loving the heated attachment to warm up our muscles for the day, and to provide relief after hitting the hill. I had a competitive Therapeutic Gun that was loud and rarely used. This new unit is whisper- quiet, making it easy to use while watching TV. The attachments are fantastic. I specifically use the u- shaped one for my IT bands. My muscles are happy.
5
Forrest J
[ I owned a Hypervolt Go and the quality- of- life upgrades going to this model are more than just minor updates. The power adjustment is simpler and more intuitive, with clear visual indicators. The included heads allow for treatment of different muscle groups and the heated head was way more noticeable than I thought it would be. I thought with the percussion that I would n't have the head in contact with the skin enough for good heat transfer but it was actually quite nice! Only minor complaint would be now you have to charge the device and the heated head separately and with two different styles of charger. Otherwise, this continues to set the standard for handheld massage guns.

Matt M
[ Amazing piece that is much more quiet than others that I 've tried. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I 've reviewed many products before objectively, and this review was n't screened before posting. It obviously still can be heard in a quiet setting, but in a gym, or in a place with background noise, it's easily drowned out. The heated head attachment is SO nice and deserves to have different styles of heated heads instead of just the flat head. That would be the next best thing. I 've used this mainly for pre and post- workouts, trying to see the difference in both performance and recovery. For pre- workouts, I find that my warmups require less time, my splits are faster and my lifts just.. feel stronger, subjectively. For post workouts, comparing when I do it to one side of my body and not the other, there's definitely a difference in soreness the next day. I am less sore where I 've applied using the gun. I would definitely recommend this to any one who trains regularly and has issues with recovery time affecting motivation to go to the gym/workout the following days. If you do n't have a powerful one with easy setting control, I 'd recommend getting one. However, if you already have one, test this out to see if there's a huge difference in the power/percussion ratings before upgrading.

Learning to live in pain is challenging. The foam roller is an outstanding support to facilitate relief just as it is described, and much more. Disabled or not, discovering ways to lengthen and stretch all parts of my body has always been energizing from the inside out. This strong support, when I lay on it, placing it between my shoulder blades extending to reach the mid gluteal area simply allows the tight back and buttock muscles to just let go without any strain whatsoever.

Started CrossFit again after a year and this combined with the roller bar is helping with the recovery. Perfect in terms of size and texture. [ I was very impressed with the Hyperice Hypervolt 3 Go and how much performance it packs into a compact device. The build quality feels excellent, it ’s easy to handle, and it quickly became part of my everyday recovery routine. I used it after mountain biking, lifting sessions, runs, and hikes, and it consistently left my muscles feeling looser. Over two weeks of daily use, I noticed less lingering soreness and faster turnaround between hard efforts. The intensity provides a satisfying deep- tissue effect that many active people will really appreciate. Personally, I found it strong in the best way and loved how it felt on my body. In the clinic setting, it can be a great option for patients who prefer firm input and have a higher pain tolerance. It ’s simple to apply, efficient, and helps target areas that need focused work. My only critique is that I would love to see an even gentler setting available for individuals who are more irritable or sensitive. With that addition, it would cover nearly every population I work with.

[ I liked the size and of the hypervolt go 3. It was small and very quiet. It worked well to loosen my legs and back muscles after riding. The two included ends seem to be able to cover most of the needs I had for it, I may get a thumb head for a bit deeper pressure but was able to mostly use the included wedge. There was plenty of power and depth and The controls were very easy to use and felt good making it easy to dial in the right speed. There were a few times I could stall out the device when pressing into large muscle groups but had no issues if I backed off and took a bit more time. If you are working into muscles hard a bigger version may be better suited I also am traveling with the device and it was a perfect size in the included travel case. Usb c charging also meant not needing to carry an additional charger just for the go 3. The battery life also has meant little need for charging even when used almost everyday after a bike ride. The device is also very quiet, the other percussive massage tool I have used is much louder and distracting. You could very easily use the go 3 on the spot in the gym without disturbing anyone. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[ The Hyperice Hypervolt 3 Go is incredible. It ’s super lightweight but still packs serious power. I travel often for work, and it takes up barely any space in my bag without adding extra weight. Same goes for the gym. Easy to toss in and bring along. What really sets it apart is how lightweight it is when you ’ re using it on yourself. It isn ’ t heavy or awkward like most other massage guns. You can easily reach your shoulders, upper back, and legs without feeling like you ’ re wrestling the thing. That alone makes it a game changer. I ’ m a climber and bring this with me regularly. I train climbers of all ages and skill levels, including a group of people with Parkinson ’s who need more sensitive settings but still need their muscles worked effectively. From them, to friends dealing with shoulder and back soreness after long sessions, to me with my own back and shoulder issues, this thing works magic. The different intensity levels make it perfect for every body and every situation. I adjust based on the muscle group and the person using it. It works just as well for beginners as it does for serious athletes. I use it before and after every workout, and my recovery has completely leveled up. Muscles feel looser, less sore, and ready to go again faster than ever. I ’ ve tried other massage guns, and honestly, it ’s like comparing a jacket from Walmart to one from Patagonia. It might get the job done, but once you experience how it ’s supposed to work, you ’ ll never go back. Huge fan of Hyperice. Can ’ t recommend this enough. Now I just need to try the heat attachment 👀🔥

[ I was super pumped to have the opportunity to test this product out. I used it mostly post workouts( about an hour after the workout) when I felt fatigue on different body parts. I would go through a stretching routine and also use the hyperice product to massage different body parts. This has definitely been beneficial and I would recommend it for active athletes and gym goers who don ’ t want to lose any days working out due to soreness. This product will definitely improve your gym workouts and overall health and wellness

[ The new Hypervolt Go 3 is a solid little tool to have in your bag. Compact, lightweight, 5 different speed settings and 2 different massage heads, all in its own carrying case that can fit in your gym bag. Some massage guns sound like you ’ re using a jigsaw and feel like they will vibrate your eyeballs out of their sockets. The Go 3 is powerful, yet stable and extremely quiet so you don ’ t feel embarrassed using it in public. I have used it frequently since receiving it, and have not had to charge it since the initial plugin- very important to me when bringing it in my travels! We use the Hypervolt 2 model in some of the Physical Therapy clinics I work for, and though the Go 3 is much smaller, it works just as well in all aspects. Love having this on hand when the DOMS is hitting hard and I ’ m having trouble moving through that soreness and stiffness. It allows me to get through my warmups and mobility more effectively so I ’ m not as limited during my workouts. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[ Hyperice gave me this product free to try! X2 Shoulder so far for me has been good to test. I have a shoulder injury that I ’ m dealing with. After I workout I immediately throw on the X2 and I start a contrasting 20min session. I wish the cold would be colder but the heat is great! Almost too hot for me but I ’ m glad it ’s adjustable. The compression I don ’ t feel has done to much. I wish the lower strap for the arm was larger. I have to have it as far out as possible and then it fits well. A little more space would be nice. The battery life on the x2 I think is great! I got plenty of sessions on one full charge. The buzz of the machine specifically while the cold sessions are going are not intrusive. It took a couple sessions to get used to it but ultimately it isn ’ t horribly loud. I would equate it to an oscillating fan. Often times I also take the X2 to work with me and I can use it while I ’ m sitting at my desk. My coworkers haven ’ t complained about the noise. One random thing is that it takes a bit to get used to the added width! Watch out for doorways!

[ This has helped relieve lots of the pain and soreness I get after working out. I am recovering from a labral tear so the heat works wonders for aiding circulation, while the cool setting feels great after PT sessions that leave my shoulder burning. The one thing I ’ ve noticed is that the app doesn ’ t seem very compatible with the Hyperice Shoulder. There are options to connect to the knee one, but not the shoulder. I can control it from the device, but I ’ m sure the app would be more convenient. Overall I really like this and will continue to use it regularly during and after my shoulder recovery. Hyperice gave me this free product to try.

[ I had an opportunity to test the new Hyperice X2 Shoulder and was blown away. With having previous shoulder injuries due to many seasons of baseball, I wanted to see just what this new product could do. With five different levels of heat, cold, and compression settings, it was easy to tailor to the exact treatment my shoulder needed. But the best part is that it is completely portable and requires no ice or water, making it perfect for while you are on the go. While I wish I had something like this during my previous baseball career, I know I will be using it now for recovery from future workouts and any flair ups that might come from my previous injuries. Thanks to Hyperice for giving me this free product to try.

[ I used this while training for a triathlon, both after swimming and after cycling. I especially noticed help in my left shoulder that I had shoulder surgery 10 years ago, though I found benefit in both. The hot and cold both work well. I definitely feel the cold a bit more than the heat. It will be great when the app is updated so the x2 can sync and it can be on a longer cycle instead of the shorter 10 minute manual setting. The `` compression '' feels like it is more to keep in temperature/keep it stable, it does not give any sort of compression like the Normatec equipment. Maybe if you were a body builder it would be different. I got to test pre and post injury. It does fit over a cast, although it takes a partner to put it on for me at this stage of recovery. It definitely helps my shoulder when I wake up now.

Aging is not for the faint of heart. But neither is high level human performance. As a competitive runner and recreational cyclist, I am keenly aware of the importance of recovery. Without which, micro- injuries that nag my aging body become macro- injuries that sideline me. Leslie Swain with GoFit introduced me to the MulitHook Multi- Tool. I use the rubber ball ends to massage upper back- something I used to try to press a Lacrosse ball into while leaning against a wall, which is super hard to control! I use the rolling massage bar for quads, IT bands, hamstrings, and calves. I feel I can manipulate the pressure better with this bar than with a foam roller. For glutes, I use a combo of the massage bar and big hook with roller- ball end. The finger- grip handle really helps to manipulate hard- to- reach areas with pin- point accuracy. This budget- friendly recovery tool is simple but versatile. Anyone with an active lifestyle would find it useful.

I was searching online on ways to reduce muscle soreness and loosen my tight muscles and found out about foam rollers. I spoke to a colleague of mine who was a cross fit instructor and also recommended on. I previously bought one made just out of foam and did n't find it effective. It was too mushy and I could n't feel it working. But this trigger point grid x really worked well! I can feel it deep in my muscle tissue. My range of motion and recovery seemed to improved as well! I highly recommend this to anyone who has a thicker body as opposed to a thinner body due to the hardness of this roller. Also research on YouTube for foam roller videos so you can correctly perform them.

This is a great product, I highly recommend it! I used to have pain on my shoulders and lower back on daily basis before I got THE GRID 2. 0 foam roller. I use this product almost every day for about 15 min and I 'm pain free

To date, the best foam roller i 've ever used. The longer length makes it easy to roll out my entire back at once, but i 'm sure the shorter version would work just as well.

I got this for my boyfriend and he is obsessed with it. He uses it all the time to roll his sore muscles out. He's a college baseball player so he has weightlifting and baseball practice everyday, so this is a huge hit with him!
