[ This shoe is everything I was looking for when it comes to comfort and weather protection. You can not go wrong with the Pegasus in general and when you run in all weather conditions this shoe is an ever bigger step above the core shoe. Not only is the traction and waterproof material great, it somehow does not sacrifice comfort. I feel that I can wear these in all weather conditions and even just around the town. Even with the stronger materials the shoe is still very light weight and does not hinder my run time. I will be purchasing more of these in different colors!

[ I was very impressed when I first tried on the Nike Pegasus 41 GORE - TEX. The fit was a little snug at first but loosened up with wear. Although the shoe is true to size, you may need to up a size if you have wider feet. The shoe is very comfortable and light weight, it felt like I was walking on clouds. The design is simple and thought out as it's waterproof and has good grip. The thick sole provides a lot of cushion and comfort. Even though the sole is thick, the shoe does not feel bulky. It is nice that these shoes are waterproof and have good grip as we are approaching rainy and icy season. I wore these shoes to the gym and it had enough support and grip. What I like about these shoes is that it has a lot of cushion that supports the sole. The only thing I would change about these is to make them a little wider. I have pretty narrow standard feet, but I thought it was a little snug at first.

[ This is great. Honestly, when I first wore it out it was a little too tight for me and I thought I needed a bigger size. Since it is a waterproof shoe, you can expect it to be a little bit tighter obviously to help keep water out during rainy training days. The second time I wore them they felt much better and didn ’ t feel as tight. I normally go half a size or a full size up for running shoes. I ’ m normally a 9, but did a 9. 5. The cushion on these shoes is amazing. They have the new zoom cushion which is super comfortable and you can wear out for long periods of time. I did a few recovery runs in this shoe during the rain storms we have been having and they did great on concrete with rain, road with rain, and some softer terrain with muddy surfaces. I didn ’ t feel like I would slip or anything while running - the grip on these shoes is amazing.

[ The Women's Nike Vomero 18 GTX really impressed me with its comfort and versatility. I have trained with it mostly on the road, where the cushioning and responsiveness have made for a smooth, comfortable run. But what surprised me the most was how well it transitioned off - road. Even on slick trails and uneven ground, the traction held up and gave me confidence to keep my pace steady. The Gore - Tex is also a huge plus. My work schedule does n't always provide the flexibility or the luxury to take rainy days off, plus sometimes I get caught in unexpected showers. With the Vomero 18 GTX my feet stayed dry, and I did n't lose any of the support or comfort. I never felt weighed down, and the shoe moved naturally with me no matter the surface. Overall, the Vomero 18 GTX has given me the consistency and confidence I need in training rain or shine. It's a reliable, comfortable, and durable shoe that keeps me focused on my run instead of the conditions.

Will resist water to a point, but it ’s not meant to be a rain boot. Comfortable, extremely so during the first 200 miles. Love the grip of the soles, especially in more treacherous conditions. I needed some hiking shoes to hike North Cascades National Park in Seattle. Never had hiking shoes before, but hated that they looked so clunky. I saw that trail running shoes work well for hikes as well and allow your feet to stay flexible. I saw these for sale and gave it a try. Wow. It genuinely provided so much support for hiking and light jogging. I hiked through brush, rocks, gravel, tree roots, grass, and other terrains. I did n't slip a single time and the shoes really cushioned each step. Safe to say, I would have been doomed with regular running shoes. After hiking a few days, the shoes still looked new! They were a bit dusty from the trail itself, though. Treads on the bottom looked new, did n't see any scratches or gouges, laces were not frayed. I got the Gore - Tex variant, so at the end of the hike, I walked into the shallow end of a lake and wiped them off, no water got in. I half - sized up. My regular shoe size is a 9, but I went 9. 5 because I wore thicker socks and appreciate the toe room during hiking as I do n't want my toes banging the front of the shoe. Feet also swell when hiking. All in all, I hiked around 20 miles on this trip as well as walking around city areas, so probably closer to 30 miles. I had no issues whatsoever and would recommend them. If Nike wants to sponsor me for this review, I 'm all ears because they 've won me over with these purposeful shoes.

First of all I don ’ t understand why there is a recommendation for one size up for wide feet since I have wide feet and this fit perfectly maybe for those with extreme wide feet it ’s recommended to go half size up. Second this shoes are extremely comfortable and good looking as well. The upper mesh is breathable and water resistant as far as I heart but I am not going to that that:) all in all I don ’ t see any negative in this shoe. Let ’s run them for maybe 2 years and see if my option changes. This shoes ain ’ t cheap so they better hold up for few years at least.

After running through two pairs of the original Long Sky shoe, my expectations were high for the 2nd version. Kudos to Merrell, LS2 meets and exceeds the performance of the original version. These shoes are light for the support you get underfoot, have excellent traction from Vibram, and I appreciate the added gaiter attachment points. I 'm about 200 miles into my current pair and so far no noticeable points of excessive wear+tear. If I had to be critical, I wish there was a little more padding in back for my achilles, but it has n't been a problem so far, just something I would change if I could. Great shoe, eager to see how many miles I can get out of them.

These shoes are incredible! They 're light so you 'll feel quick and agile in the trail and they also have great traction for grip on technical trails. The draining system on these shoes is great too, going through water and mud the Long Sky 2s drain out quickly so they stay light through your run. I raced a trail marathon with 9000 feet of gain, some technical ridge running, and some mud and slop in it and these shoes held up well the whole way!

I brought the Long Sky 2 as one of my shoes for a 120 hour ultra. The race involved 150 miles and 50, 000 feet of vert. The Long Sky's were the only shoe I needed for comfort, light weight, breathability, and trust. Trust was important with steep ascents and descents. The Long Sky's give me a sense of stability without sacrificing manuverability in extreme environments. This is quite easily the best trail shoe I 've ever worn.

[ Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ’s are currently my favorite Sneakers! I have more than a few colorways. So when I found out that Nike was coming out with a Roam Winterized version I was super excited to see what the silhouette would look like. These do not disappoint! They have the same great fit and feel of the regular Vomero 5 ’s. Very comfortable and super easy to slide on and go. I really like that the laces just have to be tightened and clipped. The materials would be comparable to almost like a rain coat vibe, allowing the outdoor elements to just slide off. The rubber mudguard adds a rain boot aspect without being an actual boot. I ’ m a big fan of a chunky midsole; and the bright yellow on the sole adds a nice pop of color breaking up the neutrality of this colorway. These do feel slightly heavier but not enough to notice as the day goes on. 10/10!!

This shoe feels wider in the toe box than a Nike zoom pegasus. It has less cushion than a hoku style shoe, but I honestly love the cushion in this shoe. The Hoka One One men's Bondi Sr shoe is my second pair of Hoka One One men's shoes, first recommended by my orthopedist. This recent purchase gives me two pair of Hokas so I do not need to wear the same pair two days in a row. They are supportive and very comfortable. Hoka One One has moved forward over the past several years from the downright ugly shoes I first purchased to today's styles. The down side to the shoes is that they are borderline clown shoes- - big in the forward( toe) section, not svelte.

I ’ m a size 12 through and through, but these in the same size were tight. The toe box is smaller than normal. Also you need to take into account feet swelling and perhaps thicker socks.
