You can wear in in the 50 ’s unzipped without getting too hot, and I ’ ve worn it in mid 30 ’s drizzle comfortably. Any cooler than 30 degrees and you ’ d probably want to throw on a fleece underneath. The Sherpa is a very nice touch, and I love the hood. This coat is more comfortable than my previous coat, time will tell if it also lasts me 20 years.

I am so happy I got this coat for the torrential rains that are happening in California right now. I usually wear a medium... sized up to a large and I am glad I did. The sleeves are long enough to hide my cold hands and I 'm able to wear layers underneath for warmth. It still looks good. My L covers my butt( 5' 6 '', 34DD, short arms, 145 lbs.) I prefer light colors for visibility in stormy conditions, so I got the white/tan one. The internal drawstring at the waist is flattering. The hood WILL NOT blow down in wind. I wish they did n't use so much velcro on the front tab covering the zipper, but I do like the low profile effect of it, so it's a wash. I am 5' 8 '', 125# and I got the small.

[ This jacket is pretty much everything you want it to be for a running coat or rain coat or everyday wear coat!:) It is so thin, lightweight and the material is very stretchy. I love that it's made of 75% recycled material and is also waterproof. Cool! My favorites about this coat are in the details though!! The sleeves have elastic so you can pull them up your arms and they stay. The zipper pulls all have a little extender on them for convenient use and there is an elastic hook to hang the coat by. Probably my favorite detail is the design of the hood pulls. You can pull your hood tight and lock it into place with a stopper. But even more awesome, the stopper is on a loop with a little blocking washer so your strings wo n't get lost in the holes of the hood during wear or washing. Amazing design!!! The only thing I would mention here is that I am a woman and this is a mens coat so the design is very straight; no room for hips at all- so I would suggest getting a womens style coat if you are at all curvy. For me I just tuck it under. Also for a men's small to fit me perfect makes me think it may run a bit small( as I think most Nike items do). Overall, highly recommend.

I travel a lot for work and carry a heavy back pack, I replaced my small umbrella with this jacket. It rolls up pretty small and is a lot lighter than the umbrella, which helps with reducing weight of having to lug around through my travels. The stylish look combined with the light weight stretchy feel makes this jacket stand alone in my collection that I 'll resort to for many occasions and not just for a cloudy rainy day. It's also not like any other typical rain coats, this one does n't make you feel like you 're wearing a plastic bag and make you all sweaty. So for the comfort, the feel and purpose, I do love this jacket and would definitely recommend.

Very happy with that. The hand pockets are secure, the sleeve pocket is handy for small stuff, and mesh pocket bags help with breathability. [ The construction and material are really good- matte color as promised, does n't seem to wet out, and feels durable so far. Seam tape is a bit flashy- I would have probably preferred black, matte seam tape as well ideally. No DWR is a huge positive( both in terms of chemical use, and in terms of maintenance since no need to reapply). I 'd love to see the outer material in high performance footwear for the same benefits and performance. The only issue for me is that even the small fit is a bit baggy on its own- perhaps when layering in cold weather the fit will work better. While this jacket is n't marketed as packable, it packs well into a reasonable size for its construction.

[ I like to hike in the rain. For the past 25 years I 've lived on the Pacific Northwest coast and had plenty of opportunity to do so. I can say with certainty there is no other breathable rain jacket that will keep you as dry as one made with Columbia's Outdry. All other jackets suffer from the same problem. Eventually the outer fabric will wet out and water will wick in through the hood and cuffs leaving you wet and uncomfortable. Not so with Outdry. This stuff is amazing. I also like the impermeable look, taped outside seams and all. It makes a statement you are serious about the time you spend outdoors and it delivers. Although the jacket runs large, Columbia's sizing tool did put me into the right size for my frame.

[ Live in the PNW and have gone through a handful of rain jackets from cheap to expensive and new until worn out. This is my first with a solid barrier versus various coatings( probably toxix PFAS). Can not say this jacket doesn ’ t have them, but it seems much more robust and the slighly soft inside is a big improvement over the sticky plastic laters of past jackets. Time will tell. But so far excellent performance, good fit and seems like it will last a bit longer than average.

Got this as a christmas present and just spent the whole last week in it for a ski trip. It was fantastic! Comfortable, flattering, and so stylish. It kept me warm and dry even in some harsh blizzard skiing conditions and dried out quickly after use. The only changes I 'd request to the design would be: 1) to find a way to make it easier to take off for bathroom trips( my sleeves and hood kept brushing against the toilet in those tiny ski resort bathrooms gross), maybe a crotch zipper in future versions of this suit and 2) the hood needs sturdier fasteners... anytime I even touched the hood to adjust it it would just totally come undone and I 'd have to ask my skiing buddy to fasten it back on. But overall I 'm very very happy with this purchase and have never looked cuter skiing.

[ I did not research any 3- in- 1 jackets before going to the store and I was pleasantly surprised when I spotted this one. I always wear a small size in coats but definitely need a medium to be comfortable. I love omni tech and require that from a winter coat. This jacket has been very warm so far and being waterproof in Oregon is necessary. I never thought I 'd separate the coats, but less than a week after purchasing, they became the perfect separates on a warmer vacation. The hood is not insulated but stays on through the wind. I wo n't need the ski skirt option and it's not a nuisance. I will note that it might be easier to dry the jackets separate after washing, or at least pull inner sleeves out or they will not dry timely. I 'm very pleased with this jackets, more than I ever expected.

In the past, I ’ ve had the option of my rain jacket ruining my outfit, or opting for no rain jacket, but having the rain ruin my outfit…. NOW neither are a problem, as this jacket actually makes my outfits even cuter!! Fits comfortably true to size, but size up if you want it to be longer. I have 5 days of skiing on the jacket in weather from sunny/warm to heavy snow. The fabric breathability is perfect for sidecountry/in- bounds skiing, but a touch heavy if you 're looking for a backcountry jacket. Great windproofing while still breathing. I am 5'11, 165lbs, with broad shoulders. I bought the medium and it can be worn with a puffy underneath comfortably. Not baggy, but still free range of movement. A touch more room on the shoulders would have suited me a bit better. There are a ton of useful pockets, no shortage. Zippers are easy to access, pit zips are a bit cumbersome however. Velcro on the cuffs is easy to adjust with different gloves.
