This jacket is better in person than it is online. I purchased this specifically for traveling in the fall when there might be periods of rain. I needed a jacket that would provide warmth as well as protection from the rain. I have previously purchased a carhartt jacket with the description of a `` loose fit '' so I was familiar with sizing. I puchased the large and it is a perfect fit. I have to pay attention to measurements and sizing since I have a very full bust. Not only is it a perfect fit, I am also able to wear it over a medium weight hoodie if I should happen to need extra warmth. I tend to `` run cold '' so warmth is always a concern for me. My previous option to tackling the rain in chilly weather, was to wear a down jacket and then put a lightweight rain jacket on top of that. Peeling off the layers became very annoying when wet. This jacket should be a perfect solution for me. I am only 4' 11 '' and although I have short arms, the sleeves on this jacket are just fine. The velcro allows you to adjust how snug you need the wrist opening to be and I am able to adjust it so it provides protection and a comfortable fit. I chose the color black as it just works best for the color palette I gravitate towards. The interior and exterior pockets are great. There is an exterior zip pocket to the left of the zipper on the upper chest area, you will find it where the carhartt logo is located. My phone fits in here perfectly and makes for easy access when needed. The partial elastic at the waist provides a feminine touch and makes the jacket look less boxy. You have the side zippers and snap closure on each side at your upper thigh area if you should need a bit more width to the jacket. This might make it more comfortable when sitting, but for me, as I will be actively walking when wearing the jacket, keeping them zipped and snapped closed will provide more protection from the rain. It is definitely heavier than the packable/stowaway rain jacket I currently have, but as stated, I needed more warmth and not just rain protection. I 'm not terribly `` rough '' on clothing so I anticipate this jacket will last me for quite some time.

[ This is a great hunting jacket. I wanted an tough outside lawyer to withstand the thicket, block wind and rain, and allow me to wear layers. This is perfect for that purpose. Also, I 've read a few reviews about how some do not like how the zipper goes up too high, but that really is n't a problem. In fact, I 'm heavy wind or extremely cold weather, I see it as a plus because you can close up more, but if it is uncomfortable just do n't zip all the way way up( common sense).

These were gifts for family members. They fit well and looked great. My granddaughter is about 5 ’ 7, slender, and the black medium Carhartt bibs( item 104049BLK) fit her well. The brown Carhartt bibs fit my 5 ’ 3 ” daughter- in- law well. I ordered her medium- short( item 104694BRN). They have horses and want to keep warm while cleaning up after and caring for them. But not any kind of love, we 're talking about the feeling of falling in love with steezing a mountain in some crazy pow... Or maybe.. It's just the feeling of steezing itself. These snow bibs have made me seriously begin to question why I have n't been steezing for longer. Steezing mountains, villages, cities, etc... I 'm 25 now and for the first time I feel like I can steez down an empire. I could take down Joffrey Lannister with a single swing of the ski pole. I could take out Khaleesi and her dragons with one swift snow blinding stop, I could defeat the entire Ramsay army by walking into the castle and demanding a surrender. The point is, you can do whatever you want in these bibs. Except for tinkle, tinkling is tough but what would you expect in a bib. The zipper will suffice, but be careful on cold days... you might lose it. Anyways, incredible bibs here that are going to last me quite a long time.

[ Whether it is a slushy or powdery cold day, these will keep you dry and warm. Insulated where you need them and vented for. when you do n't need so much. Fit great with a base layer and snug when more layering is needed to keep the warm in. The fit is very true to size and as snug as it needs to be to keep you warm.
