The Carhartt Ironwood boots fit exactly right, and are unexpectedly comfortable. The soles absorb shock and are comfortable all day. The insulation is just right too. My feet usually sweat in boots, but stayed very warm did not sweat in these. The only improvement I would make is to use something other than hiking boot laces. I have tried thorogoods, wolverines, and red wings all at 2- 3x the price of the boots, and these have consistently lasted longer for a much better price, the soles wear at a much slower rate and the leather does n't fall apart like others I have used. I ’ ve been wearing the Georgia Wedge over 15yrs now and prolly has become my one and only boot/shoe i wear with everything. Lol, went from Nike ’ s/Vans/Chucks to only Georgia wedge. I love them so much i have pairs for work and everyday wear. I ’ ve worked for the Water company where i live and not really being “ water proof ” i still wore them and they would hold up for 6 months or so. That ’s jumping on shovels, kicking stuff, underwater, asphalt and so forth… as well as the Natural gas field and seems to hold up better without constant water lol i ’ ve bought up to 6 pairs in a yr bcuz all the OT I was working, but i say all this to say i never had more compliments then this boot and i ’ ve worn every brand, the quality of leather is the best and i can walk in them all day. I have owned and heavily used a pair of these for 4 years now and still wear them. They are still comfy as can be, and my feet stay cool all day long. By far my favorite boots in the whole world.

I bought these boots a few months back and have really enjoyed them. They aren ’ t freezing cold in winter and haven ’ t been making my feet hot so far this wet and warm spring. Highly recommended for the worker that needs a 100% waterproof boot.

A little heavy. But after about a 70hrs work week in them, I had gotten used to them and couldn ’ t even tell. They are comfortable they keep water out and my feet dry, I tied the laces once when I got them and have been able to easily slip them on and off which I like. as long as they last at least a year I would purchase them again.

Fits good. Very comfortable and durable. Made my feet have a bad odor so I put some foot powder after wearing them for 9 hrs a day for work. Over all happy with my purchase.

I have fairly narrow feet and these fit perfectly and are very comfortable. You ca n't even tell they have a steel toe. My only complaint is the top lace grommet. It has a different type of hook so it is a little difficult to get the lace in it when it is pulled out. I still rate this as Excellent though.
