I 've caught several good fish using this combo with the largest being a 21 '' reservoir striper and have never had a problem with the hook. You can simply chuck and wind this combo but I prefer to vary my retrieve and even just kill it every now and again to trigger a bite.

I have caught Walleye, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike with this lure.
