I like these shorts more than I like most lined running shorts. They are light are breezy. I changed into them after a day at the beach and they were more comfortable than my swim trunks. The waistband is the best part for me because it does n't dig in or roll over on itself. the shorts are pretty thin but even with my phone and wallet in my pocket I did n't get that weird thing where the pocket drops below the hem of the shorts. These shorts and other Vanish Woven shorts were purchased as my go- to shorts for tennis. They do n't cling when they get wet with sweat, and they do n't retain the moisture making them heavy an hour into a match. The 6- inch inseam is a blessing after years of having to put up with lengths suitable for NBA players. The pocket is deep enough to secure the second tennis ball without pressure, yet the ball is n't loose or low enough in the pocket to hammer my quadricep during a point. The funny thing is these shorts are so comfortable I use them every day when wearing shorts is a good idea. Perhaps shorter shorts would be preferred when on runs, but these are plenty comfortable for me. They wash well on speed cycle and cold water, and hang dry very quickly.

Great all- around shorts! I love the fabric of these—the nylon has a crisp( almost stiff at first, then softening over time) and substantial feel. These hold up to moderate abrasion better than drapey polyester shorts. They ’ re perfect for rock climbing. The wide leg opening and stretch makes them great for lifting or running too. I ’ ve even gone swimming in them( just note they are unlined). I love the 5 '' inseam, but I do wish the front rise and back rise were an inch higher. The embroidered logo is a nice touch.
