I typically wear medium but took a large for a roomy feel and the option to wear those compressive shorts as an under layer since it can be tightened at the waist. It does have a liner. Definitely recommended- I bought 2! I would love to see other color options!

I got these shorts to wear while run/walking. They have to be some of the most comfortable shorts I have owned. Almost like I have nothing on. They are stylish and I can wear them with any shirt I choose. While stretching I could tell how well they are made. Like any product with this brand, you can tell they care about the product they are selling. I had no trouble with sweat as the shorts didnt stick to my legs while walking. I was uneasy about getting these and writing a review. But they will be in my drawer for a long time. After weeks of wearing them.

They are quite comfortable and very flexible. I ’ ve had no issues with them binding or riding up on me during any of my workouts. I train several days a week. This includes stretching, running, plyometric workouts, and baseball specific workouts. These are my favorite shorts to wear in the gym. I like that the shorts have relatively deep pockets and also a small zipper pocket on the left side for keys, wallet or a cellphone.

I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.

They do not ride up and the interior lining has not created hot spots. The pocket size if extremely convenient for carrying needed items on the run. They compare extremely well with the name brand shorts I have come to rely on for running, and I will definitely look for more of these VRST 7 '' shorts.
