I bought this review after looking up some massage techniques online for forearm and shoulder soreness from pitching in baseball. I started using a la crosse ball and it works great for pressure but not so much for deep tissue massaging. This massage ball helps move around the tissue and I really feel a massage with less pressure. I highly recommend this in addition to a la crosse ball. You will not be disappointed.

It's like they took high strength aluminum and put a hard plastic shell over it. A trainer of mine several years ago suggested a trigger point ball for areas that are difficult to target with a foam roller. I thought about just getting a tennis ball. I did n't think this little ball could be so beneficial, but it most certainly has been. I 've used it on the side of my shoulder and around my shoulder blades in my back. The ball has different colors of foam that give a little more than others. You can target the pressure differently depending on how you position the ball.

I am an endurance runner and over time, I have built up somewhat of an immunity to regular entry level foam rollers and have been looking for something more intense to achieve the results I am looking for, both pre and post workouts. The GoFit Extreme Massage Roller was exactly what I was looking for. It is great combination of firm foam, but not too firm. It is an aggressive roller, but not too aggressive. There are other `` aggressive '' rollers on the market that I have tried that are either too firm or too bumpy. It is also the perfect size. This `` jewel '' is 13- inches and at this size, it allows me to easily travel from race to race with it. It is the perfect travel companion and when times get tough like it did this past weekend, when I was stuck in an airport overnight due to my flight being cancelled, it also works great as a pillow... I spoke to a colleague of mine who was a cross fit instructor and also recommended on. I previously bought one made just out of foam and did n't find it effective.
