I had half torn my plantar fascial tendon some 20 years ago in a athletic competition. This little tool is really helpfull to relieve pain when it comes back. It does seem to work preventatively, too.( If only I did not get lazy when the pain recedes...). I 've got both orange an black, they are both pretty good. Have used it every day and it has yet to not ease the knots and clickity click sections of my back, like in the video. I do n't typically write reviews but today I was feeling like paying it forward. This massage roller is the best out there, and I have tried so many types. I bought one for my son, my husband, my father... you name it. The grooves in the bar help penetrate deep into the muscle and bring blood flow to the area. The handles are superb. I pulled my back moving furniture sometime in March. Since then, I ’ ve been in awful pain. Btw, I ’ m an in shape guy, 27 years old. It felt like it was never going away for months and months. I got this ball about 2 months ago. It didn ’ t appear to be working at first because I probably wasn ’ t using it right. I have low back pain arthritic. So before I workout I use this to help relieve and stretch the tension. Plus I have tight hips and that helps with stretching before I run and play ball. It's temporary relief but it's a big help. The product is heavier and harder than the trigger point type but I use both I like this Nike one cuz it digs deep into area. We have a house of athletes that travel for competitions and having a vibrating roller that travels easily is a huge benefit. We have had a larger vibrating roller for a year and its used daily but it does n't travel easily. We like the Grid Vibe Plus because its small but packs a punch.
