Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

The Hoka One One men's Bondi Sr shoe is my second pair of Hoka One One men's shoes, first recommended by my orthopedist. This recent purchase gives me two pair of Hokas so I do not need to wear the same pair two days in a row. They are supportive and very comfortable. Hoka One One has moved forward over the past several years from the downright ugly shoes I first purchased to today's styles. The down side to the shoes is that they are borderline clown shoes-- big in the forward( toe) section, not svelte.

I bought my xtra tuff boots a few years ago for kayaking and then we moved and now have chickens and a creek. My boots have held up inside and out and are still waterproof. I wear them outside every day in the woods and doing chores to protect from ticks, keep mud on one set of shoes, mowing, protect from water and all my outdoor activities. They have performed so well that I got a pair for my husband for Father ’s Day and his fit perfectly. We ’ ve both added arch support insoles and he ’s been enjoying his for yard work too. I do n't usually buy slip on shoes/boots because I hate it when they slide up and down on my heel. These do not slide. They definitely take a little work to get on, but man do they fit well and stay snug. Being a little more difficult to put on is worth how they fit and feel. They used to be XtraTuf. Everybody called them Alaska sneakers because everywhere you go, somebody is wearing tufs. The quality went downhill a little bit after they stopped manufacturing them in the USA but overall they '' re still a decent boot. I 've had the composite toe and the regular 15 '' legacy boots for over a decade, the 're more comfortable than a muck boot in my opinion and better for working on boats than most other rubber boots. As a fishing guide I always have a pair with me, it's always raining in Alaska.

I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. As you can see, I have lymphedema and ca n't wear a standard boot. I also have a rather high instep meaning I ca n't wear most shoes of this style. I took a chance and tried them on. So far these boots are great. More comfortable initially than the centurions where. Break in seems to be going well too. Only thing I would like to see different is for the lace hooks to be a little more open on the ones below the top ones. All of them but the first ones kinda require a bit of force to get the lace in. I do like that though for the top most ones as it keeps the laces from unraveling like the centurions would.

Its hard to leave an educated review without putting some miles on the boots. That being said, I have had my boots three weeks now. I 'm a union electrician and I had a big shutdown over labor day weekend. I wore the boots 19 hours without taking them off and I must say they are a very comfortable boot. At this point in time I would purchase another pair without question. We 'll see what the future has in store for long term comfort and durability.

My only complaint with these boots is that they took forever to break in. After two weeks I thought about returning them because the leather uppers were digging into my ankle so badly that I had bruises. I kept wearing them because of all of the good reviews. At about 3- 4 weeks of wear they just kind of conform to your foot. Now at 8 months they are the most comfortable shoe I own period. After a weekend of wearing tennis shoes my feet actually feel good slipping into these work boots. I can work an 8 hour shift on my feet and keep them on after work until I go to sleep and they are still comfortable. Not to mention that they are holding up great and if I cleaned them they 'd probably look new. I will be replacing these with a pair of the same boots when these finally wear out.

I 've had these boots for over a year, working 10- 12 hours a day 5- 7 days a week. I work in the elements. I have tromped through water, been on ladders for hours of the day with no arch pain, rested heavy objects on them, and put them through a good bit of everything. They still do not leak water, they are still comfortable, they have not torn at any seams and keep my feet happy. I would buy these again without hesitation and would highly recommend them to friends and coworkers. I had to replace the laces today but that is expected. They do not have to be broken in like some other boots.
