I worked all over the world working mostly in international humanitarian programs and working with the poorest of the poor in the world. I like the work. I needed good sturdy waterproof and rot proof sandles like the original leather KEENS I first saw people wearing at a state fair in Sept of 2005 and I ordered my first pair. I ’ ve ordered many leather KEEN Sandles over the years. I would get nice comments traveling from anywhere in USA OR from DRC or Egypt or ETHIOPIA or MADAGASCAR to PAKISTAN or Comoros or Zanzibar. From Capetown to Kitabas island or Tarawa or Capers Islsnd to K- Bay on Oahu my KEENS would normally last me 6- 8 years before I had to replace them, but I alway give them away to somebody along my journeys in life. I told Bill Gates how great they are when I wore them while doing a wedding he attended at the space needle. I didn ’ t even know who he was back in 1998. He said to call him William, and he would call me Sonny. I told Saquelle O ’ Neil and his mama when I talked with them, that I liked my KEENS and I thought they were Cool… when I was talking cool shoes. His uncle told me he was a good basketball player too, but I didn ’ t follow B- ball. I just work to make peoples life better. My KEENS take me there…. And bring me home safely.

Great for hiking, walking and working. Runs a little tight, bit once you wear it for a week or so, fits perfect.
