[ I needed traveling chairs for my sons ’ swim meets that were light, compact and easy to fold, quick drying and a shorter profile for an 8 and 10 year old. These chairs seem to fit the bill. My boys were able to fold and carry them easily( parents aren ’ t allowed close to the pool), they don ’ t take up too much room so I can fit two easily into the car, the fabric doesn ’ t seem to absorb water so I can pack them up quickly and not have to worry about air drying before packing and storing and my boys thought they were very comfortable. The only issue I have with the chairs is that the back support is short so you have slouch to be comfortable. So for those that want a taller back then choose the Teddy version.

This is the prefect chair for the sideline. Seating for two people but the carry bag isn ’ t much bigger than a regular quad chair. I love not having to juggle an extra chair. If your going solo to game with kid the extra seat is a prefect place for their gear then they have a seat when they need it. It ’s also a great kid chair since they can lay down on it and they have room for the toys. The pockets on the back are a fantastic idea. Good place for sunglasses, sunscreen, or snacks. Oversized cup holders give a lot of room for the big water bottles out there or coffee thermos ’s with handles. I have long been partial to director style chairs, but this chair has them beat, being more comfortable and folding up more compactly. I am 6' 5 '' and 350 lbs, and the seat height, angle width& depth are all perfect. Rigid arm rests are sturdy plastic and shaped to allow finding several positions that are `` just right. '' Folks under 6 feet, unless very long legged should probably look elsewhere. Steel tube construction. looks and feels very substantial. Soft soil or sand locations may be a problem: the chair contacts the ground only at the 4 corners.

The GCI Outdoor Roadtrip Rocker is an excellent chair that sits on the fence between an `` A '' or a `` B ''. Just a couple extra credit assignments and it firmly passes with straight A's. This chair is very comfortable and does a surprisingly good job as a rocking chair. The back is tall enough to lean back and feel supported. It is wide enough be bundled up in blankets and still have room. There are two things I 'd like have changed slightly. If you are sitting up to a table, or even just forward on the chair it is a bit too relaxed. Lastly, be prepared for a fairly large item when folded. Getting all this comfort into a bag poses a big challenge. Well done GCI!

This chair feels sturdy, it has weight to it and is comfortable. Im a bigger boy at 250lbs and I feel like im not going to blow through it. Other rocker camp chairs have a whine or squeal to them. I have not had that experience with this chair. My wife and I keep them in the garage of our camper. Their folding design works great for some smaller spaces. This is for sure a chair you are not hauling far from the truck or camper. Highly recommend if you are the on the fence.

This chair is made of high quality material, and the stitching and finishing is fantastic. It has nice padding, and the tubes are very sturdy. It is a bit heavy, which is understandable since it is large. My husband says it is not heavy at all. He really loves it too. [ I love this chair! It's perfect for the beach and my boys sporting events. It folds down and up easily. The seat lays flat and is very sturdy. The tray table is the best feature! I love all the storage on the other side, but I do wish it was sewn on and not velcro.

[ This is very good chair I have ever compared to all other outdoor chairs we have. Light weight and easy to carry even when we have to walk for a mile. Made of aluminum and easily foldable. Can be used for a beach trip, camping, to watch a sport or an evening music show. This has an add on tray table and extra pockets which are very useful to stuff all small things in there. Very comfortable to sit and sturdy. Seat is sturdy and firm, not too stretchy. Hoping it will be durable.
