As the description says, you can fit bumper plates( or standard 45 lbs/20kg plates) on every peg. This is a great design feature and improvement on standard plate trees. I was a bit skeptical, but it really works.

Solid- holds plates that I bought from Dick's without any issues. The powdercoat on the arms will likely be scratched over time, ruining the finish... kind of wish this was just a solid stainless steel arm but it does n't really affect anything. Setup was easy.

Bought this for my hubby as a surprise gift as its something he has wanted, but never purchased. Holds his weight plates perfectly. I compared this one vs the Rep fitness one, and even tho th3 rep fitness was cheaper, this one held more overall weight so nike it was. Fantastic product thus far and easy setup!

This product has a weight limit of 500 lbs. For some reason, this is n't shown on the website. I currently only have 265 lbs, but this weight tree seems to do just fine for this weight. I found it interesting that the 2 '' posts are actually larger than the center square tubing so only part of the tubes are welded/secured. I can definitely see where the 500lb weight limit would come into play. Overall though, the only real flaw to this product is in its part tolerances. When my unit was level to the floor, the bottom- center piece ended up at a slight angle. Angled enough to where there is about 1/16 '' excess above the very back piece this is bolted to. Furthermore, the angled piece connected to the front post took a bit of muscle to line up to the bolt holes. Once tightened, the tree feels quite sturdy regardless of these deficiencies, however. Just be sure to let everything level itself before tightening the bolts. I went ahead and gave it five stars since it met my expectations for the price. Simply put, it does its job and its half the price than other trees I found. Granted, rated at half the weight too...

I do n't usually review products but I came across this tree that I purchased a few years ago that I still own and decided to do it some justice. Bottom line I love it. It holds an entire Olympic size weight set( 300 lbs) and it has room for extra weights. As described by another reviewer as long as you stack your weights accordingly it will work as intended. For the price you cant go wrong with this one.

I have had this rack for many years. It stores an entire olympic set in a compact footprint. You have to stack the weights on it properly for them all to fit. 45s and 35s at the bottom and the smaller weights up top. The bars are staggered so the whole set will fit.

I was looking for a low profile plate holder I could store all of my bumpers on, so it would need to have spokes with enough room to do so. I have 2x55, 2x25, and 4x10 Rogue HGv1s, all 17. 5 inch diameter and they spread perfectly across the four posts with room to pull on and off easily, as advertised, and is perfectly low profile for my small footprint home gym. Exactly what I was looking for and very reasonably priced.

I read the review about people having issues with building it. You just need two wrenches( 9/16 or 15mm) to tighten the screw and bult together. Note do not tighten all the screws until the whole thing is assembled. I am able to use 25lb weights on
A gym plate tree is a storage solution designed to organize and hold weight plates in a compact and accessible manner. It helps keep your workout area tidy by preventing plates from being scattered on the floor, reducing the risk of tripping hazards. Additionally, it allows for easy access to your weights during workouts, making transitions between exercises smoother.
When selecting a gym plate tree, consider factors such as the weight capacity, stability, and design. Look for a tree that can accommodate the types and sizes of plates you own, whether they are standard or Olympic. Also, consider the space available in your gym area, as some designs are more compact than others.
Yes, gym plate trees are ideal for home gyms as they help maximize space and keep equipment organized. They are particularly useful in smaller areas where floor space is limited, allowing you to store weights vertically. This organization can enhance your workout experience by making it easier to find and access your weights.
Gym plate trees are typically made from durable materials such as steel or heavy-duty plastic, ensuring they can withstand the weight of multiple plates. Steel constructions often provide greater stability and longevity, while plastic options may be lighter and easier to move. It's important to choose a material that fits your needs and usage frequency.
Most gym plate trees are designed to hold various types of weight plates, including standard and Olympic sizes. However, it's essential to check the specifications of the tree to ensure compatibility with your plates. Some trees may have specific slots or holders designed for different plate sizes, enhancing their versatility.
Maintaining a gym plate tree is relatively simple. Regularly check for any loose bolts or screws and tighten them as needed to ensure stability. Additionally, keep the tree clean by wiping it down with a damp cloth to remove dust and sweat, which can help prolong its lifespan and maintain its appearance.
