I ’ ve had this pack for a couple of years and its perfect. Fits a couple of big Plano boxes and a 2L hydration bladder. Haven ’ t tried the fishing rod straps yet. Lots of pockets and its comfortable too. Well made. I do a lot of bank fishing so this pack makes it easy to keep all the stuff with me as I travel. If you ’ re a bank fisherman looking for a backpack, this is your guy. You ’ ll love it!

I bought 2 of these for my sons, ages 13 and 11, to each accumulate their own tackle for our fishing trips. The dual boxes inside and pole holder in the pack free up extra hands for chairs and a cooler. Very happy with the purchase!

Made extremely well. Loved the hard bottom of this considering I mostly fish kayak and canoe, keeps things dry. Looked forever for what this thing will hold with no info on storage capacity. Pulled the trigger and was pleased with what I could fit. Main compartment holds 3 3700 size boxes, you could add a 3700 thin as well but its pretty tight. The front pouch will hold a 3600 box without much room to spare, I loaded mine with a 3600 thin terminal box and a thin 3500 box. Pouches on the side of bag will hold the small Flambeau spinner bait box. I used top pouch for plastics, holds like ten bags or so comfortably. Great bag and comfortable to carry fully loaded

[ A tad large for my 60m rope but honestly no real complaints. Good bag for the cost! Rope fits in, rolls up nicely, keeps the rope clean and stores away.

[ Great price and fits my needs for my gym rope. Saves me time and now I can get more routes in per session! Rolls up nicely and keeps my gym bag organized.

Jblack4
[ I love it, I bought it with the intention of pairing with my other metollious rope bag so I could carry 2 ropes inside it without them getting tangled. Works great for that, it also works great to throw on top of my pack and avoid tangles. Definitely recommend it.

[ Exactly what I expected at a reasonable price. There are a lot of rope management hacks/cheap solutions, but this is a fairly inexpensive way to do the job well if the shelf.

[ The tarp bag is very useful to protect the rope. But, maybe I am not usign it right because the rope sometimes is going out of it. The material is good

[ I was looking for a crag bag that could also be used to haul gear on a 2 day big wall. The Quarter Dome rides the fine line I was looking for between massive and agile handling. I can fit all my trad/aid gear inside and have a little extra room.
5
Dominic
[ as my climbing knowledge and direction continues to improve, I required to purchase a larger more practical store for all my climbing gear. The Metolius Quarterdome is generous in space allowing for storage packs if required, its weight is tolerable for its size. I had searched for a relatively practical sized bag whereby the Quarterdome was the correct fitment for my needs. Metolius make larger and smaller sizes in similar to the Quarterdome and will cater for any required service need. I 'm certain this bag will be in continuous use and look forward with excitement to be part of this amazing beautiful sport of climbing

[ I bought this bag a few weeks ago and have been able to take it to a few crag sessions. So far, the bag has performed great! I have been able to fit all of my gear, rope, water, clothes and lunch with ease. Solid outer construction looks like it will stand up to a beating but have not been able to test that yet. A nice feature is that it stands upright independently which makes loading it easier. The shoulder straps and waist strap are also pretty confortable, more so than I was expecting for the type of bag this is. Not quite as comfortable as my backpacking pack, but I would n't expect this from the collapsible and stowable straps. Overall, I am very happy with this bag and would recommend it to someone looking for a good crag bag. Probably a little small for a big wall but honestly have not tried it for that.

[ I bought this bag a month ago and basically have been using it to pack all of my camping/ climbing gear since I got it. It hauls pretty well on steep terrain but can be strenuous on less vertical rock. Definitely would recommend to help get you out there and have everything you need.
