Bought this to put up at our vacation home to keep everyone occupied. It was easy to set up in about 30 minutes.( A little bit of confusion with set- up directions for anchoring net, but we figured it out.) Net stayed up for 9 days with no sagging or adjustment needed. Great height for teenagers/young adults. Net was very wide and we had to shorten it to fit in the area we were using, so just wound net around pole until we had desired width. So far, the tetherball set seems to be of good quality. The only questionable part is the cheap plastic sleeve that needs to be cemented into the ground. Since I did not want a big hunk of concrete in my backyard forever, I went to Home Depot and got a piece of pipe and hammered it into the ground. Then I can easily remove it whenever the kids are no longer interested. Working well so far.

We got this to replace the one we bought years ago and basically played into the ground. Kids love it. Most of the pieces are still in great shape but the net wore out after~ 5 years sitting outside in hot sun and torrential rains. Ca n't imagine having our boys and their friends grow up without it. The rackets that come with the net are not the same quality as ones a serious competitor would buy, but great for family use, and you really want to have 4 that work instead of just one really great one. Ca n't beat it for the price.

I was impressed with this product: not only does it have a durable net and rope/stake system to hold it in place, it also has a bright yellow rope boundary you can stake in place. We thought the birdies were too light, until we started to play and saw that they are perfect-- it's all in the way you hit them. They will travel!( A word of caution: be careful when unpacking the boundary rope; do n't just drop it, but take it out carefully. We just dropped it on the ground, expecting to easily pull into out into place, but it tangled so badly that it took us almost an hour to untangle! I realize that this was not the rope's fault...) I 've played for years with this net system. We use the same net every time we play and we play for a minimum of two hours every time we play. This net is still in perfect condition. You can set it up virtually anywhere and in next to no time. Very easy assembly and disassembly. The stock stakes are not the best but very easy to replace.

1 month review- I 'm a long time runner& biker yet also a parent of 4 kids, so more and more I 'm loving the idea of exercising at home. This is the only outdoor- oriented product of its kind that I could find and it's built like the sturdy outdoor equipment at nearby parks. I 'm 6 '' 2 and 175 lbs. I 'm a motivated noobie and am pleased with its stability. I can grab onto the bar without jumping or over stretching, but I think I must bend my knees to hang or reach a full extension. After owning 2 indoor home pull up/dip stations, this one is the most sturdy and stable I have owned. I have it set up outside on my concrete back yard patio and it is stable enough for what I use it for that I do n't need to bolt it down. I lined the bottom with rubber garage door weather seal. I weigh 165 lbs. and use it regularly for weighted pull ups and dips, hanging leg/knee raises, toe to bar, windshield wipers, and oblique abdominal sit ups. However, if you plan on performing any plyometric exercises on it that require you to change your grips mid- air, then you should definitely bolt it down. As for the height, I 'm 5'10 '' and it works fine for me. If you 're over 6 feet, it might seem short if you do hanging leg/knee raises or pull ups( you would have to keep your knees bent). The only minor issues I had was that the shipping box came pretty beat up and some of the pieces came with a few scratches/chips. Also, the black caps were the only pieces that did n't seem to fit `` perfectly. '' They fit okay, but they kind of pop out a little occasionally. The diameter of the pull up bar is thicker than the typical ones you find in gyms and parks, which makes it more challenging, but I consider that a good thing. Keep in mind, this product does not have bars for neutral grip pull ups. The directions were clear and assembly was easy( all of the pieces/bolts fit well, I was able to hand tighten everything at first and then used the allen key to tighten everything at the end). As the directions say, do n't tighten anything until the last step. Overall, I 'm very satisfied with the product. I no longer need to lug my pull/dip chain belt and weight vest to the park to do my workouts and I can keep it outside with taking up indoor space.

The only downside is that the net is very snug so it ’s a little difficult to slip on, maybe that ’s a good thing though to make it more sturdy. As a high school tennis coach, I am often looking to find ways of getting my players some valuable practice time when the weather is less than desirable and indoor court time at a club is not possible. I have yet to use the net with my athletes, but after setting it up and testing that process I feel that the net is a decent portable net that is easy to set up and take down. I do not think that it would be a good idea to have 4 or so athletes serving on the net at once as the net itself is somewhat thin, but for volleying games, or small skill related, or singles challenge games it should work nicely.

I did use it this week in the gym. The kids LOVED it!!! It took me about 15 minutes to assemble alone. I had almost 400 kids use it over the 3 days of gym! I used for all grades ok- 8th. I was nervous about kids falling on the net which it proved to hold them if they did. I had a rule not to touch the net. The ball was bouncing great off the net, and kids thought it was meant for professionals! Took me maybe 10 minutes to take down but most of that was the Velcro, I got the 20 ft one. Highly recommend!!!

This is a really diverse training tool. It's a perfect size for my younger kids to use as a goal, and my teenager is able to use the rebounder for high school drills. This is not a flimsy PVC goal. It is able to absorb some big kicks. It is also very easy to move when I need to mow.

I have never had anything that my kids and I have used as much as this net. We have had it for two years and used it daily in spring and summer. It has great rebound action and is a good size to use as a goal. It does not rust and has been very durable. With all the use, one of the bungees snapped finally but I actually just tied the ends together tightly and it's still good to go. Replacing bungee is easy too. This net has honestly made all of us better soccer players, terrific for training.
