Okay... so yes, this is a regular stainless steel water bottle.... but whoever designed the straw/chug piece is an absolute GENIUS!!! The little piece has made me no longer use my other water bottles. As a matter of fact, I bought two of these bottles. I got this one because I am worry having the parts that I put my mouth on exposed to the outside environment. I considered the quencher flip straw, but the top of the straw is still exposed when folded down. I also worry about mold gathering in the crevices. This one was a no brainer for me, especially because you can put hot or cold drinks in this one. it's also easy to wash! I definitely recommend this one.
