And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. The Ultra Adventure is my fifth Sunday Afternoons hat-- and my first in this style. The other four are the Sport model. I got my first one eight years ago for sun protection and haven ’ t been without one since. I burn easily, and after dealing with some retina issues from bright light, I ’ ve gotten very serious about protecting my eyes. I also walk a lot near lakes and other water, where the sunlight can be really intense. These hats do a great job covering my face and helping block glare.( I still wear sunglasses too for extra eye protection.) They fit true to size. My head is fairly small and I wear the Small/Medium. One small note-- the slider in the back tends to loosen easily, so I secure it with a quick stitch of thread and that takes care of it. They 're super easy to clean. I just soak them in enzyme- based laundry detergent for a few hours or overnight, rinse well, and hang to dry. Even after all these years, my hats still look great. I keep buying them because I like the colors, and I ’ m trying this style for a little more coverage. Highly recommended for solid sun protection, especially for your face!

I bought this hat almost 10 years ago. It keeps all the rain away, keeps the water off the back of my neck and down into my clothing, the webbing inside keeps it so my head does n't get sweaty. This is a fantastic hat. My daughter borrowed my hat when she volunteered at a wildlife rescue and without in the pouring rain all the time cleaning the enclosures. I kept the rain out of her eyes and off her back. I ca n't say enough about this fantastic hat. I 'm a woman but find that men's hats usually fit a little better. This hat is quite large though. When I bought it it came in different sizes, I do n't see that often now. I wish I had gotten a little bit smaller size even with the adjustment on the back

[ I live in Colorado and have a Sunday Afternoons Sport Hat for sun protection. I 've used it for several years and wo n't leave for a walk without it. With the bizarre, exceptionally wet spring we 've had, I did n't want to stop hiking/walking. And pulling my hood up over my Sport hat was n't a good or dry solution.
