The last reviewer is right that this replacement grip adds more weight because of the gel. But I was happy because I needed to increase my grip size without having to use a shrink wrap. This solved my problem as it made my racquet 8 grams heavier which is n't too much for me. As I 'm used to a racquet weight of 340 to 345 grams

I took the original grip off because it had the raised ridges and it felt too different depending on which side was on the forehand. I like this grip a lot better. I still put two over grips on top but it would be fine for casual play without.

Purchased for my wife this hands are so sweaty I refuse to allow her to play with my paddle. On the original paddle grip she looses grip and paddle slides around in her hand. This grip was applied to my 15 yr old's tennis racket, and now he can finally compete with me! I was a little embarrassed about his game at first; he should be able to beat his aging dad, but with this new grip, he's like a furious Agassi, before going bald.( Not that this is some Samson story.
