Ground covering, not an actual blanket. It ’s great, we have two and use of for beach, yard, hiking, etc. but, not a blanket. The underside is specifically a moisture liner, therefore, can not be comfortably used as a blanket.

This is a great Rumpl blanket, but I was shocked at how much cooler the color combo was than the initial photo of the blanket. The color of this blanket is much more accurate in the lifestyle shots outdoors. I got the crisp fade, but I figure the Arizona fade( and any of the other fades,) is also much cooler looking in person than the studio photo as well.

Two people lying down fit great to picnic prior to the concert, and then it held up well as we stood on it throughout the entire 3 hour concert. The second night there was even a light constant mist so we reversed it and let the rugged waterproof side protect us from the rain while the soft side kept us warm.
