Unique and cute, these shoes stand out. I wore them with a dress and received many complements, but because they ’ re comfortable as well as cute I had no problem recommending them to anyone. While they look like they lace, they are actually slip on shoes and the laces are for looks. I like that. I went up 1/2 size because my other Allbirds are pretty snug across the top of my high instep when I wear even the lightest socks. All others I have bought my usual 6 1/2 M and I am happy to wear them all day every day without socks. The insole is comfortable enough and the slip ons are like wearing gloves.
