I love this thing. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it works well when used properly. All the kids on my team love to use it and seem to immediately transfer the swing action developed with this directly to live pitching. A team that hits to to bottom will be hard to stop! He ’s transitioning from a 28 ”- 12 one piece composite( due to crack) to this 28 ”- 11, and it feels well- balanced and comfortable. He is 7. 5 years old playing 8U ball, we got the 27in(- 12) very close to his older adv teeball bat which was 26(- 13). My son plays 10u rec little league, and we 've gone through a ton of bats over the years trying to find the one he like the best. The PWR Select is his favorite bat he has swung. He has chosen this bat over the Rawlings icon 2024( that was his favorite), The Dirty South Made, and the Cat X2. The ball seems to come off this bat a little bit hotter than it did with the others even after breaking them in. It took a little bit for him to adjust to the weight, but he is able to barrel this bat up better than others he has played with. We did modify it with a flared bat taper.
