The Quest Expedition was exactly what i was looking for. I tend to over pack for day trips so i went for the 45L size pack. Can still fit a lot stuff inside. Its very comfortable to wear all day. I feel like its very well made and will hold up for a while.

Nice sized backpack with quality construction. Big enough for medium trips without being too big. Lots of pockets for storage. Nicely padded straps. Perfect for flights or medium length backpacking.

Jstan2700
This backpack is very big and sturdy and it can definitely hold a lot of whatever you need. I like that is has additional smaller pockets on the handles and straps to keep small things like wallets, cash, or cards dry and separate from the rest of the items you 're holding. the arm and waist straps are seemingly strong and easy to adjust to proper fit, and they hold the pack in place very securely. It's also nice looking and the easy to remove/attach waterproof cover is an additional plus.

This backpack is very nice. Has several smaller pockets to store several items. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear. The straps adjust very easily. It also has a rain cover that works great. And the cover is easily stored in one of the pockets. Would definitely recommend

This is a lightweight backpack that I feel is a good balance of capacity and comfort. Lightweight but durable fabric. It has buckles that can keep the backpack more compact, or unclipped, can expand to the full size. Has many pockets and comes with a rain shield in a bottom pocket to cover the whole backpack in the rain. The chest and waist clips to secure the backpack are comfortable too. This backpack also has a central zipper down the middle which would help you reach anything inside easily, even in the bottom of the pack.

I recently purchased a travel backpack, and I could n't be happier with my choice! One of the standout features is its spacious interior, which provides ample room for all my essentials. Whether I 'm packing for a weekend getaway or a longer trip, I can easily fit everything I need without feeling cramped. In addition to its practicality, the backpack is sleek and stylish, making it a great accessory for any travel outfit. The design is modern and visually appealing, which is a huge plus for someone like me who values aesthetics as much as functionality. Comfort is another key aspect that impressed me. The padded straps and ergonomic design make it easy to carry, even when fully loaded. I 've taken it on several adventures already, and I appreciate how comfortable it feels on my back. Overall, I highly recommend this travel backpack to anyone in need of a reliable, stylish, and spacious option for their travels. It truly checks all the boxes!

I received the 45L version as a gift from family before a trip and I realised that, whilst perfect as a carry- on, it would n't pass as a personal item for flights. So I signed up for restock notifications and as soon as the 25L size came back, I snapped it up! It's so easy to fit so many things in such as clothes, toiletries, electronics etc. There's a pocket for everything! For the size, it's not too heavy in weight but it feels robust and high quality.
5
Christine
The perfect all around backpack! I 've used it for commuting, hiking, biking, and as my carry on for air travel and it never disappoints. I like it for its large capacity and loads of interior organization features. Pockets for water bottles, laptops, and everything in between.

[ I love this pack! Perfect size for a full day out of summiting or ice climbing. Plenty of room to add gear for whatever conditions the mountain decides to throw at you. You definitely get a perfect fit based on the provided adjustments and the feel if the pack distributes the weight beautifully to not weigh you down so that your energy isn ’ t spent by the weight. The fit is part of you so when you are calculating every move on a ridge thousands of feet up, you don ’ t have to worry about your pack. This pack hits it for me in every way for my mountains, cliffs, frozen waterfall needs and the Mars Orange is awesome! Climb on!

I 've been using my Zulu 65 for the past few months... some late summer& fall backpacking trips and winter river trip. It's one of the most comfortable packs I 've used before, and it has great pockets for side gear and wallet/phone/keys access. I 've used it for one to three day backpacking trips and it's been perfect. I plan on putting it to the test for a week trip coming up soon. Gregory just makes solid packs!

This one was a warranty replacement for me. But I love the fit, and is ability to carry everything I 've needed for several 5 night trips and still feel good after 8- 10 miles in.

I 've used this pack for the last 4 years, carrying 35- 45lbs across up to 18 miles of travel. It rides well on the hips and the 65L version is more than enough to handle a 2- 4 day 3 season outing. I have not tested in winter yet, but with the room I have in this thing in late fall in the Mtns of SC/NC, I do n't foresee an issue. Seems to have the same technology in the belt& spine as the more expensive Osprey packs, without the upcharge for the name.
5
Jarod M
I ’ ve taken this bag hiking over 60 miles so far. I ’ m 6 ’ 1 ”, 180 pounds and it fits perfect on my back. It is a comfortable fit and has a nice gap between the frame and bag to allow airflow. The mesh side pockets do not seem very durable, not meant for heavy or sharp objects. The side straps also have a difficult time staying secured. The main compartment is spacious and easy to access and the cover has a top and bottom pocket. Overall I ’ m happy with the pack.

[ I am pretty impressed with this pack. I have a few very high end hunting packs and they always seem to cut off some hip circulation. With a 3 night off trial campsite this pack was fantastic! I was skeptical but this pack performed very well. I really liked the U- zip access, huge hip pockets, and the side pockets that I can grab a waterbottle from while wearing the pack. A couple of things I did n't like: those huge hip pockets left no room for a bear spray holster, there is no way for the lid to double as a separate pack for little jaunts from camp, and the hip belt was maxed tight on my 34 '' waist in the Med/LG frame choice. I could get the waist belt tight enough but if I stopped eating cookies...

[ I bought this backpack for day hikes and mountain biking. It easily accommodated my 2 liter water reservoir with plenty of space leftover for trail snacks and extra clothing layers. 5
I love this pack. It has all the features I need for backpacking trips 5 days and under. Might be a bit small if you wanted to go for 7 or more day trips. Or a super cold winter trips where you need to pack bulky gear. But for average 3 season gear and trips around 5 days or less this is great. My gear that is perfect for ~20- 30 degree nights all fits just great in here. The features of this pack are more than enough and it is durable material. As others have stated the only change I would make is expanding the side mesh pockets a bit. With a full pack it is hard to fit a Nalgene in them. But that's about my only complaint. Plus there's a pocket for a water bladder anyways.

steve04
[ I bought this to upgrade my old day pack. I use this for work and it has all the features i needed to upgrade size, storage, rain cover and comfort.
5

[ Might not be a stallion, but this pack is a fine workhorse! Tough as nails, with all the features you 'll need at an affordable price. 48L is more then enough for most weekenders and long term travelers alike. I 'd feel confident in the backcountry or on a plane with this pack. The black and green make a great color combo, and added bonus they match my tent. The hip pockets are n't as fluid as I 'd hoped, takes two hands to open one, but I think some graphite might fix that right up. It's heavy compared to ultralight bags, but I think the extra 1. 5LB are worth the savings, extra back support- and the peace of mind that I can toss this pack just about anywhere and not worry about it. Ospreys all mighty guarantee sealed the deal for me.

Love how much variety this pack offers! From the trail to the airport, this pack really does it all. I took this pack on a trip to California where I had to pack light, but needed to bring my work laptop and knew I 'd be doing some hiking. It was the perfect pack for the job! It was great for travel and fit everything I needed for a plane ride and easily transitioned to a hike once I got to my destination. It really has the perfect amount of pockets- I love the front `` shove it '' pocket and the interior mesh pocket to keep thing organized. It also has a small pocket on the inside for its rain cover( which is included!) which came in handy while I was on my trip! My favorite feature of the pack is the included water bladder with magnetic connection points that keeps the hydration hose secured to the backpack strap. I 've never had a pack/bladder with this and I 'm obsessed. This pack has very intentional and thoughtful features and I 'm stoked to have it in my gear arsenal. On top of the features, I love how stylish and clean the design on the pack is. This is now a go- to pack for me and I know I 'm going to get a ton of use out of it. Can not recommend this pack enough!

This bag perfect for any and all adventures. It provides just the right amount of space for extra layers, food, and all the necessities. Love this backpack. I do wish they made it in a varietie of colors, specially Venom. If so I would buy another. The pack does it all. It handles everything you throw at it and let's not get started on the zipper aspect. Perfect size for weekends trips in the back country. When you put this pack on the comfortability is second to none. Truly a pack that is so comfy you forget you even have it on. It distributes the weight like no other. I have wore a lot of packs and this one sets the tone. Keep up the good work Yeti!!!

My old bag was done. So for my next trip to Andorra and Spain I chose this pack. As an honest backpacker who has hiked most of the States, Canada, and the entire Camino in Spain, I can tell you this pack is worth it. Do not let the `` weight watchers '' sway you from this because it is a few more ounces heavier than they would like. The load system is so tuned in and engineered to perfection the `` extra ounces '' are non- noticeable. Plus, let's be real, if you know how to pack right then you know how to pack right. I had a TNF 75 ltr. pack before this. I can tell you that this one can carry everything better and more comfortably.

This pack is the perfect trail companion! I 've gotten to take it out both XC skiing and on some winter hikes and it's the perfect size for an extra layer, snacks, first aid kit, and any other gear you might need on the trail. I love the magnet strip on the water bladder that nicely holds the bladder straw in space when not using it, and easy to drink out of while on the trail. The pockets are well thought out and easily accessible. I do wish the side water bottle pockets were a little larger to fit my nalgene, but definitely not a dealbreaker since it has the integrated bladder.

As a smaller sized gal, I 've struggled with daypacks feeling too big and bulky. The 18L was my goldilocks and is such a great size for a casual hike or wandering around town! There are not a lot of pockets, but I actually prefer a simple pack. My favorite part of the pack is the chest and hip straps that make the bag easily adjustable.

I originally bought this pack to walk the Camino de Santiago France, 500 miles. But, it was too tall to use as a carry on bag on the airline. I did train with it and walked a lot of miles through mountains, etc.. Very comfortable and well designed. Everything functions well.

I ’ ve taken this backpack to two different 30 day trips. And I have been through every single situation, terrain( minus snow), 10+ flights( a few made made check in bag) camped, hiked, walked through beaches, visited hostels. Hours in airports and this backpack is A beast. I stuff the heck out of this bag. It packs like a 50L. The top most pocket is so big. Can fit a toiletry bag and more. Still looks new, quality is superb. Passport fits perfectly in hip pockets and snacks and earbud case. Very light and comfortable. My bag was roughly 25- 40 pounds at all times. Perfect for long trips( 10+ days)

This a great backpack and is nice combination of an ultralight backpack, but with a lot of the features of a more traditional backpack. Great day pack. Pockets in all the right places for convenience items. Not having an internal frame, saves the weight I was looking for. Main pack pockets are right sized. Hydration sleeve allows for a variety of connection styles by using a Velcro strap. Comfortable shoulder straps with phone and bottle/other stretch fabric pockets. Waist belt has convenience quick access pockets and useful mini daisy chain rows, nice for small caribiners to connect small stuff. Lots of details others tend to leave out.

It's a great backpack. I got it large and it was actually smaller than I thought it would be. It definitely wo n't go over your head if you think it's those types of backpacks. You can reach the water bottle if you are able to reach for it normally on the side pocket. It looks nice and the clips are easy to snap on and off to remove the pack. The pockets all are great and the small pocket on the strap is pretty convenient and you can see through it a little bit to know what's in it too.

I used this pack on a winter 7 miles, 3, 200' elevation hike breaking trail most of the way. I packed from the bottom up: belay parka in a compression sack, burly goretex shell jacket, 2 one liter nalgene bottles, extra gloves, med/ emergency kit( about 1L in size), 2, 500 calories of snacks, nanopuff jacket. Two headlamps and keys in the internal zip pocket, map and microspikes in the external zip pocket. Two 16oz waterbottles in each side pocket for 3L total, neither side waterbottle fell out while butt sliding down the trail. Samsung Galaxy S22 fit nicely in either chest pocket, chapstick in the bottom elastic pockets. 25 '' snowshoes on the S/M pack were easy to put on a take off with a sling. I did n't use the zip pocket next to the waterbottle holder but it definitely seems like it could be useful. Used the double sternum strap( very comfortable!) to clip my gloves to the bottom strap and tuck them under the top so no snow fell in. I carried the pack around for 15 minutes with 30lbs of rice and beans in the back, it carries the weight well but you can feel items through the back if you do n't pack right. No soreness the day after hiking. I plan to take this out on longer day hikes- presidential range, great range where I might want extra gear but do n't want a 40+L pack. No signs of wear after a single hike getting snagged by trees, seems like it will be durable. Sizing: I typically wear my packs at 18 '' torso, the S/M mens is a perfect fit, I had about 1 '' extra waistband with a 28 '' waist. I bought the Deuter SpeedLite 28 womens but it was terribly tiny all over, this is everything I wanted that pack to be and better. Overall: Very well organized, lots of attachment points, lightweight, comfortable, and moves well with the wearer. New go to pack, well worth the price.

[ I bought this backpack as a gift for my husband, who is a multi- day hiker. I am not a hiker myself, so I was a little nervous about the purchase, but Osprey made it easy take the chance. And he loves it! Its very well ventilated, light weight, and has great access for things you need to reach for regularly. The hip straps are molded in a `` hugging '' position, so it makes the load feel more securely positioned over his hips and takes pressure off his lower back. And I love the color, he looks great in this shade of green. We are very happy with the purchase!

[ Great size for a variety of adventures. Super well built, as you ’ d expect from Osprey. Very comfortable, and the air flow is outstanding. You might consider the 65L if you ’ re an overpacker, but I think the 50L is great to help keep weight down.

[ The only problem I 've encountered was getting the hip belt right. I 'm a skinny guy with bony hips so it took a bit to get the hip belt right. But the pack is super customizable so I eventually figured out the setup. I got this bag to downsize/upgrade from my old 70L(?) pack. Its been perfect for 4 days of backpacking or quick car camping as well. I was initially worried about having less pockets than my old pack, but that turned out to be a non issue. Great bag!

[ This is one of the most critical pieces of gear from my 2023 Appalachian Trail thru- hike. Before I had picked any of my other gear, I knew my pack would be an Osprey. It did n't take much research to settle on the Atmos 50. This thing is a beast and could handle anything I threw at it or in it during my hike. The best feature is the one everybody already knows well: the airspace and ergonomic curvature that perfectly forms to your back. Furthermore, this distributes weight very efficiently, allowing your hips to bear more of the burden and relieve your shoulders. Other features I love include the waist pouches where I stored quick access items like my multi- tool and hand sanitizer, the included rain fly for quick rain protection, and the angular water bottle holders on each side where I had quick and convenient access to my one liter Smartwater bottles. I even made regular use of the two pockets in the brain portion. The interior dimensions are sufficient to fit a bear vault of the largest size turned sideways. There are straps on the bottom end of the pack that frequently held my tent, though you could also extend the top straps for the brain and store your tent under there too. The shoulder straps are thick and comfortable. I was able to attach a phone pouch on one and regularly attached my umbrella to the other. The materials are rugged. Despite all the use and abuse, scraping on trees and rocks, repetitive motion abrasion, weather exposure, and slinging around, the pack held up well without failure for 2, 000 miles. There are probably adjustments I could have made to reduce weight, as this comes in at 4. 2 lb. This while most thru- hiking packs in the ultralight category are less than half of that. With Osprey you 're getting two extra pounds of comfort, in a sense. Alternatively, they do have the Exos 58 that weighs less. Also, regarding sizing, I think osprey could improve by separating them out into four: S, M, L, and XL. Other lesser known UL brands do this, so I would think osprey could handle it. This is my only real `` complaint ''. All around, Osprey is, in my book, the best backpack maker in existence.

[ The atmos ag 50/65 is THE BEST backpacking pack out there hands down. I personally use the 50 L and it is the perfect size for 1- 3 night trips. It is extremely comfortable with around 30lbs of gear. I love the sleeping bag pocket on the bottom of the pack, absolute necessity and only a feature on the atmos AG NOT the atmos LT. The removable lid is also a welcome feature when you ’ re trying to go lightweight.

[ This is a very high- quality product. Carrying heavy loads is really nice with this. I chose black because it appears that the packs appear much brighter in real life than in the photos. Black looks amazing with yellow interwoven threads in the AG area. Just a work of art!

[ This bag is super high quality, you can feel it in the material and just how well it fits to you with the anti gravity technology. There are a good amount of pockets to sperate certain gear but not to many to being useless. The bag is definitely not for ultralight backpackers but is perfect for backpackers who appreciate being comfortable.

[ I 'd been using my old pack for 20 years and just bought the Osprey Atmos 65. I just came back from a five day trip in the Beartooths( Montana) and I was glad to have the new pack. It definitely put the weight on my hips and was much easier on my shoulders than my old pack. The suspension system was also great, making this a more comfortable backpack. It's almost 4 pounds lighter than my previous pack as well. I 've only used it 5 days, so ca n't really comment on the long- term durability. I 've had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders over the past 2 1/2 years so my shoulders appreciated the new pack as well. Very pleased so far.

[ This pack is the perfect size for anything from a weekend to a full week of backpacking. It is very comfortable and can adjust to just about any size. [ I LOVE this back. I backpacked through deep mud and heavy rain. The included rain cover was great for hiking and laying the bag down in the muddy vestibule. It feels like you are carrying half the weight when it is on and it can be adjusted to whatever your carrying preference is. I had and easily accessible spot for everything. I compared it to many other bags before settling on it. No other bag could beat the comfort, which is really important for a person with back pain.

I hiked across Spain for 500 miles over 35 days carrying this pack. I had NO issues and it was so comfortable. I carried about 13- 15 lbs with a water bladder. Only wish the water bladder nozzle had a cover as every time I set the pack down my nozzle touched the ground- good for my immune system! I just feel so grateful for my pack. One of your sales people on the phone recommended it after I tried several other models and sizes. Could n't be happier. One of the zippers broke before my trip but it was n't key. I will call regarding this. Otherwise- highly recommend this pack. So light, so comfy, so kind to my body after a long haul. Thank you.

I have been shopping for a backpack for a few months now, reading all the reviews. I was n't quite sure what I wanted, so I ended up ordering a few different ones. This 45 L pathway 2 backpack is likely my favorite in a lot of ways. The waist strap is great with good cushioning, preferable imo to the current sytle of thin straps. The chest strap is nice too, adjustable height. The layout of pockets is pretty much spot on on this bag, I could n't ask for a better design. Even compared to more expensive brands. Super happy with this and have purchased a second. Will continue to look at high sierra in the future.

I ’ ve had a Kanken backpack for YEARS that I love especially for just running errands around town, but I ’ ve been finding it a bit small for when I ’ m out hiking or on day trips. I knew I wanted a roll top bag so that I could have the option of more space, and I ’ m so so happy with this bag. I was looking for a new pack that had more volume than my current hiking day pack that could also function as a bag for errands and other outings. I love that it's foldable and you can stuff it full or just have a few things in it. I purchased my foldsack because I have a High Coast 18 that I absolutely adore but needed a rest. When I saw this pack for the first time, I knew I had to have it! The first thing that I gravitated towards was the zipper closure combined with the fold over hook. Which was a great feature because I use my pack for just about everything so this comes in handy if I fill my pack to the brim and need extra security. It is waterproof and Eco friendly... game changer! I am 5'2 so I thought it would look huge on my back but it looks similar to my 18L. I am in love with all the color options but I chose Rowan Red which is close to a deep orange. I 'll still take my High Coast 18 on treks but this High Coast Foldsack 24 is riding shotgun from now on.

This is my first day pack with internal frame. It makes it very comfortable to wear, balancing the weight down onto my hips( even unbelted and even wearing it on one shoulder) and the frame with mesh back keeps my back cooler even in 93 degree humid weather. The pockets are n't ideal. The top front pocket is very small( and if you put a heavy phone there it is unbalanced). The internal( water or laptop) pocket is deep- so anything small put in there is lost to posterity( beware). The water bottle pockets on the side fit a smaller water bottle easily but tougher with anything larger. I used it as a carry on( personal item) and no complaints from the flight attendants about how it fit under the seat in front of me, though the top did stick out a little and I found it to be a bit in the way of stretching my lets. It fit a ton of stuff- I had an umbrella and rain jacket, wallet, cosmetic size bag with electronic cables and earbuds, cosmetic bag with actual cosmetics, book, magazine, two journals, an airport shopping bag( small), and small cosmetic bag with meds in there. There is a helpful clip to attach your neck pillow! It also has a rain cover in a pouch at the bottom that was very useful in a downpour, if a little hard to extract and put in place on the fly.

The material feels durable and water- resistant, so I don ’ t have to worry about sudden rain. Overall, it ’s a stylish, practical, and reliable backpack that works perfectly for both daily use and travel.

So far she has enjoyed it on multiple day hikes and loves how simple the organization is as well as the support while loaded up with layers, lunch, first aid kit, etc. She especially loved the ability to add her trekking poles to her pack while not in use and overall is happy with her Osprey Hikelite pack.

This backpack is well proportioned and has all of the right amount of pockets for storage of all sizes of items for your journey. It is also comfortable to wear which is a must. My only complaints are two minor things. First, the bottom zipper where the sleeping bag goes can get stuck easily on the zipper guard/overhang. Second, the padding on the waistline can soak up a lot of sweat. But overall a great backpack and looks cool too. I will keep it for years to come.

I bought this bag to use on a weekend hike on the AT with my thru hiking son. The bag served it ’s purpose. I was able to carry everything I needed easily in the main compartment and brain. The zip pockets on the outside are pretty useless once the main compartment is filled. Same with the water bladder. I did not use it. For the money though it ’s a good bag. It was comfortable on two 10 mile days from McAfee Knob trailhead to Daleville, VA. My torso measurement was 18 and I used the small setting on the adjuster. I tried the medium setting but the shoulder straps did not lay correctly on my back.
When selecting a day hiking backpack, consider features such as capacity, which should accommodate your essentials without being overly bulky. Look for a comfortable fit with adjustable straps and a padded back panel to ensure support during your hike. Hydration options, like built-in reservoirs or pockets for water bottles, can enhance your experience. Additionally, pockets and compartments for organization, as well as weather-resistant materials, are important for keeping your gear secure and dry.
To determine the right size for a day hiking backpack, consider the duration of your hike and the amount of gear you need to carry. A backpack with a capacity of 20 to 30 liters is typically suitable for day hikes, providing enough space for essentials like water, snacks, and extra layers. Additionally, ensure the backpack fits comfortably on your back, with adjustable straps and a supportive design to help distribute weight evenly. Trying on different sizes while loaded with weight can also help you find the best fit for your needs.
Day hiking backpacks are typically made from durable materials such as nylon and polyester, which offer resistance to wear and tear. Many backpacks also feature water-resistant coatings or treatments to help protect contents from light rain. Reinforced stitching and high-denier fabrics are often used in areas that experience more stress, ensuring longevity during outdoor adventures. Additionally, some models may incorporate lightweight yet strong materials to balance durability with comfort.
Yes, many day hiking backpacks feature designs that enhance comfort during outdoor activities. Look for padded shoulder straps and adjustable sternum straps, which help distribute weight evenly and reduce strain. Additionally, a breathable back panel can improve airflow, keeping you cooler on warm days. Many backpacks also include hip belts that provide extra support and stability, making it easier to carry your gear over various terrains.
The typical capacity range for day hiking backpacks is usually between 15 to 30 liters. This size is designed to accommodate essentials for a day trip, such as water, snacks, clothing layers, and other gear. Many backpacks in this range feature compartments and pockets to help organize your items efficiently. Choosing the right capacity depends on the length of your hike and the amount of gear you plan to carry.
When choosing a day hiking backpack, consider your hiking style and the duration of your trips. For shorter hikes, a smaller pack with a streamlined design may be sufficient, while longer excursions might require a larger capacity to accommodate extra gear and supplies. Additionally, think about features like hydration systems, pockets for organization, and comfort elements such as padded straps and back panels. Assessing these factors will help you find a backpack that aligns with your specific needs and enhances your hiking experience.
A hydration system in a day hiking backpack offers convenient access to water, allowing hikers to stay hydrated without needing to stop and dig through their pack. This system typically includes a reservoir and a tube, making it easy to sip water on the go. Additionally, having a built-in hydration system can help distribute weight more evenly, enhancing comfort during long hikes. Overall, it promotes a more efficient and enjoyable hiking experience.
Weather conditions play a significant role in selecting a day hiking backpack. For instance, if rain is expected, a backpack with water-resistant materials or a built-in rain cover can help protect your gear. In hot weather, a pack with ventilation features and hydration reservoirs may enhance comfort and accessibility. Additionally, colder conditions might necessitate a backpack that can accommodate extra layers or gear, ensuring you are prepared for changing temperatures during your hike.
Day hiking backpacks come in various styles, each designed to meet different needs and preferences. Some are lightweight and streamlined, ideal for short hikes where minimal gear is required, while others offer additional features like hydration reservoirs or multiple compartments for organization. Additionally, certain models may be tailored for specific body types, such as those designed for women, providing a more comfortable fit. Ultimately, the choice of style depends on the length of the hike, the amount of gear needed, and personal comfort preferences.
When choosing a day hiking backpack, consider the number and type of compartments it offers for organization. Look for features like side pockets for water bottles, front pockets for quick access to essentials, and internal sleeves for items like hydration reservoirs or electronics. Accessibility is also important; ensure that zippers and openings are easy to reach while on the move. Additionally, consider how the design allows you to pack and unpack your gear efficiently during your hike.
