The body the shorts are a very lightweight material-- if I had to dig for a negative, it's that they are SO light and airy and sometimes when I 'm running at the gym, I 'll just do a quick glance over my shoulder to make sure I 'm covered. I always am, but they are that breathable and light. But not see- through or sheer. I did buy black and the dark red and ca n't confirm the see- through qualities of the lighter colors. For size reference, I am 5' 6 '', 138#, a 6 in most pants and I bought a medium. I probably could 've gone with a small, but I do n't like things to cut into my waist. The waistband does n't stretch out with wear, so I think the size is perfect.

The 5 ” length is perfect for me as it ’s long enough to not ride up my thighs when I walk/workout. The fabric feels soft and supportive which is exactly what I look for in clothes I ’ ll be moving a lot in. The best part of these is the curved seam on the back which accentuates the right places and doesn ’ t give the flat look a horizontal seam usually creates. Also- usable pockets! Highly recommend!

I love that these shorts are high waisted as well, it gives me that nice snatched feeling and there is no issue with the waist band rolling when you move around. I am usually an XL in Nike bottoms and the XL size for these shorts fit perfectly. So far I have worn them for strength training, running, and walking indoors.
