I do n't mind these boots but they feel more like a winter boot than a rainboot. They are quite heavy for a rainboot and they rub on your lower calf/upper ankle if they 're not snug. I wish I would have went down a half size or worn thicker socks. You must wear taller socks so it does n't rub on your skin. Overall, they are a great boot and it's almost like they have a dual purpose; rainboot and winter boot.

They were too tight so I got size 7 1/2 and they feel much better but I am breaking them in before a winter trip to Japan where we will be doing a lot of walking. The boots are a simple style which I love and will keep my feet warm. I looked at many other winter boots on several websites and none can compare to the Cedar Quilt and I love the color green so this was perfect. I will attach two photos to the review.
