[ I LOVE THIS JACKET. It is lightweight, yet `` warm ''( I always layer my clothing) because it protects against the wind and NY/Long Island weather is always unpredictable! And lately in 2024 it's been hitting temperatures in the 30's and even as low as 20F and it's been raining. Heavily. I had to touch my sleeve a couple of times to ensure that I 'm still dry which to my delight I was. The only issue( personally for me I do n't mind it) is that the sleeves were long on me. I am 5' 1 and sort of have short arms and legs so this jacket went past my knees just barely touching my shins. But what really sold me on this is the pockets and how adjustable this jacket it, from the double zippers, all the roomy pockets AND adjustable hood.

Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

I have to start off and say I really appreciate the quality that goes into these bibs, there have been numerous improvements and upgrades to the older design. They have a relief cut into the pocket to hang a tape measure on either side. The front of the bib pockets are much more usable now, especially with the large zip pocket. Also the double cuff at the base of each leg is very nice. I 'm happy with my new overalls. Money well spent!
