[ As a larger man with broad shoulders, a muscular chest, yet a small waist, I didn ’ t think I ’ d ever find a good fitting summer shirt that didn ’ t balloon out like a tent. Then I found this shirt. I love the material and how it feels. Almost like I ’ m wearing nothing at all! Also like the fit, though I do wish there was a “ tailored ” style with the waist tapered more. I have an upside down triangle shape, and while this does fit better than some, there ’s definitely a lot of material around the midsection that I don ’ t need. Takes away from my body shape. Survived for almost 14 months as my go- to baselayer in any activity where I might get down to a single layer( and where I live I can wear shorts in winter in some of the areas). Fits to size, good shape, very nice material, cool and light and takes little to no space at all. After 50- 80 outings( mostly 12+hr hikes and trail runs) and subsequent washes became less stretchy and started to tear when going through the bushes( before that it used to just stretch instead of tearing). So I just got myself a new one

I purchased the shirt for a 3 1/2 week kayak, snorkeling, and walking trip to Palau in the eastern Pacific, and used it about every other day. This is a well designed shirt that is comfortably soft and blocks the sun both when dry and wet. I felt it was comfortable in hot and humid weather. The hood stays in place in the wind and while snorkeling. The sleeve gauntlets will cover the back of your hand when paddling- important in intense sun. Unlike the other sun shirt I had, this shirt does not stretch out of shape when wet, and it will dry overnight if you hang it up.
