I was told I could use baseball batting gloves too, but I wanted something more fitness oriented. The fingertip `` swipe pads '' I thought were a joke, until i actually used them. My workouts have evolved into heavier weights and I realized I needed workout gloves. I tried other brands, but they had seams in the top of my palm that I know would hurt my grip. However, these Bionic Women's BeastMode Gloves gloves fit well, with padding where it was needed, but not so much that it effects my feel. They also offered a smooth grip without seams.
