Definitely buy up 1 size. These shorts are great but they definitely run small. I wear a Medium in shorts but these were so tight that they dug into my skin. I replaced them with a Large and they fit great. I bought the 5 '' in black and pink. The only thing that I do n't like about these shorts is the drawstring. They are so thin that it comes out of the wash tangled and twisted tight every time. It's annoying but not that big of a deal.

I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.

Heard great things about this shorts, had to give it a try, after a few weeks of using them to lift weights, run, and just run errands on a few occasions, they feel good, look good and is very comfortable and stretchy. Well made and I can tell it will last a long time. I got the 5 ” lined and the liner is a boxer brief that is not super tight nor loose. Which I appreciate.

Nice simple shorts. Very versatile and the zipper pockets, which I feel are a must at this price point make for secure storage. Material seems similar in feel to the tech fleece line but for a cheaper price. The material is also cooler than tech fleece. I find these can be worn in temperatures above 80 degrees. Note the 7inch inseam, I ’ m am 6ft and the medium fit well but could feel a short compared to the regular tech fleece shorts

I love them and they are super comfortable, but only one rear pocket which I find slightly minimal in terms of allowing for placement of whatever it is I may want or need to take with me — inevitably I have used an additional fanny pack, which is fine, but sometimes I think an extra pocket would be nice( even if in the liner).

[ I own a lot of different brand biker shorts and theses are the first ones that actually do not rise up. I could run, lift, and cross train and never have to do the annoying pull down that I have to do with my other high- end brand shorts. I usually do a medium in biker shorts but the small actually fit perfect on my pear shaped body. What really stood out to me first was the rubber material on the inner legs which made the shorts stay in place. The shorts are super soft and comfortable. They also keep in my stomach which is nice. I took these on several runs and they kept me sweat free. Highly recommend!

[ The Chaser 5 '' short tight are very comfortable. I was concerned when I opened them because they seemed to have an unfinished edge, they do n't have a bottom seam. I thought this was a potential annoyance and the shorts would shift and creep up my leg as I ran. I was wrong. The inside of the leg has a slight grippy material that is soft, comfortable and keeps the shorts in place. The shorts fit snug but maintain their comfort throughout the run. I like the pockets on the sides just in case I need to stash fuel or run with my phone or keys. I love a pocket in my running shorts, it's great for convenience. The thicker band at the top of the shorts helped keep them in place and not falling or shifting as I ran so I did n't have to keep adjusting my shorts as I go. Overall I loved the shorts. They are quality made and comfortable to run in while also being functional. I will probably choose a darker color in the future but overall I like the light blue and it adds a fun pop of color to my running wear. I will enjoy running in these throughout the year especially when the weather is warmer.

[ These short tights are great compared to other similar style shorts I own. They do fit slightly snug on the legs, but fine on my waist. The material feels nice to the touch and is stretchy. They are comfortable to wear on runs. The seams on the inside bottom legs are seamless. There is physically no seam that I see. There is also a clear grippy material on the bottom of the legs that is awesome for keeping the shorts from riding up. It ’s smooth and not itchy or irritating. The pockets could be a little wider, but they are super deep, which makes up for the width. I love that! Nothings worse than trying to shove your phone in a pocket that ’s too small only for it to flop out. Overall, I really like these shorts for running in!

These are amazing! So much better than the previous Chaser 3 '' shorts. The new waistband is so comfortable and they do n't ride up at all. I have worn these for my last 3 runs and it honestly does n't even feel like I 'm wearing anything. It also helps that the pink is SUPER cute!!! Great job, Brooks! Please carry this waistband update into the Chaser 5 '' shorts too!

These shorts are my go to running shorts now. I purchased a few colors because I liked them so much! I feel as though they fit TTS, I am a medium usually and medium fits well. I am 5 ’ 7. 5 ” and about 145#, athletic build. I have larger thighs and these are perfect. The band is nice. It comes up high enough and is not too tight.

These are the best shorts out there right now IMO. I used to wear Nike Tempo for running, everyday wear, and sleeping. But I 've noticed that the brief part has gotten smaller with updates, and the elastic waistband irritates me. I 'm also in between sizes in Nike( XXL is too big, XL is uncomfortably small). These Brooks shorts solve all of those problems! I was impressed by the full- coverage briefs, comfy waistband, and perfect length with vents for mobility. They run true to size for me according to the sizing chart and the XL fits great. Exactly what I was looking for. Back on the website to order more!

All the pockets on these shorts are great! There's even a loop for a hook to hold a key. The phone pocket fits my phone now, but if phone's keep getting bigger that pocket will need to get bigger, too. There's a credit card size pocket, too. Not sure is it's RFID. If not that would be one improvement I would suggest. I was n't looking for a short with a built- in panty, but that's one of my favorite features. I like the longer length. That's why I bought my first pair of these.
