Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. My daughter loves this oversized sweatshirt. She said it is incredibly soft and comfortable. The fit runs true to size. For reference, she is wearing a medium in light heather grey color. It is great for layering and looks cute with leggings or jeans. The material is polyester, rayon and spandex which provides some stretch. Slight pilling after washing but for as much as she wears it, the sweatshirt is holding up nicely.
