I absolutely love these shirts. My biggest complaint is they seem to be out of stock, and I ’ m afraid Dick ’s is discontinuing them! I admit I ’ m super picky when it comes to clothes. I have some sensory difficulties and chronic pain/neuropathy things so I want soft, comfortable shirts without bulky seams that breathe well without weird tightness anywhere. I don ’ t like polyester. I especially look for shirts with fun patterns and colors. These completely fit the bill. They arrived quickly and have, so far, held up well. I wore them on a recent trip and was impressed with the lack of sweat accumulation. I love the cotton/modal/spandex blend; it ’s very soft and has just enough stretch to be extra comfortable. These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

The material is similar to other Outdoor Research shirts in the 2024 clothing catalog.
