I had an old pair of UA compression leggings that I have been looking to all the running companies to try to find something comparable in fit, feel, pocket... and have not been able to. One of my preferences is it contains cotton, not 100% polyester.( Thanks UA for offering cotton content products.) I 'm not sure why I selected large. Maybe, I was thinking I will be able to fit into these someday. Turned out I did n't need to wait. I was very surprised they fit me. XL would be oversized. As for length, I would say at the end of the legs the slack is about an inch. I am 4'11 '' and have been told I have short legs. The waistline comes up to my navel. The inseam reaches me just right. Now, once I drop extra body fat around my waistline, then, these would fit perfectly. Going to get another pair in a smaller size. I am that optimistic.

[ I 'm certain these are the nicest leggings I 've ever worn. My initial reaction to them was realizing that they are incredibly soft and smooth to the touch. The material is light- weight. The nylon/spandex dri- fit material is unlike anything I 've ever worn. When trying them on, I was a little nervous the fit would be too tight. I am a curvy 8/10 in bottoms and the medium fits perfectly. As you slide the leggings on, you realize these have an amazing level of support. The leggings feature a comfortable mid- rise waistband that has an additional flat drawstring that can be used to further adjust the fit. I did n't have to adjust mine, so it laid comfortable against my belly. The leggings are so sleek, you may miss the 3 hidden pockets along the inner backside of the waistband. There are two small ones and a larger one in the middle. The leggings also feature a deeper side pocket on each leg and a single zipper pocket on the left leg. That's 6 pockets in total for maximum storage while remaining sleek in design. Lastly, the leggings feature a single Nike swoosh on the top, front side of the leggings. Overall, the design seems simple but a lot of thought went into constructing this masterpiece. These are perfect for hitting a trail or even running errands. I love the storage and the support. I do n't like reviews that say `` love these '' or some such, since it tells me very little. So... I am 5' 2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.
