I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” and 120 lbs, and the XS fits really well. The waistband is a bit snug going over the hips, but once it ’s on, it feels firm and supportive, which I like. The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. I bought these for walking in our Michigan winters and so far have been very pleased! They are cozy warm fleece and pull on easily. Love the ankle zippers and reflective strip at the ankle, although not visible with boots. I haven ’ t worn them in bone chilling cold weather, yet, but so far they have kept me very warm.
