After searching through local sports stores, at the rink, big box stores and websites, we finally chose the Chicago boys rink skates for our 4 and 1/2 year old grandson. They are easy to get on and off, support his ankles, and glide smoothly around the basement floor. They are also suited for the indoor roller rink, which he will be going to soon for a party. He uses them to play roller hockey. Although the shoe is a vinyl, it looks and feels almost like leather-- too bad they still are n't made with leather. We purchased them two sizes bigger than he wears for growth. He wears long sports socks over his regular socks, and that works fine. I would recommend these skates over others that we found at big box stores.

I bought these for my kiddo in March 2020 for something to do during pandemic times when schools were shut and there was no recess or PE. My kid uses these still at least once per week if not more. I 've changed the wheels, but not because they fell apart, just because we wanted softer ones for outdoor skating. My 4 year old son LOVES his Neon Combo Skates. He has been dying to get skates of his own to keep up with his big brother and these multi- mode skates were the perfect find for him. He started out using them in quad mode. They definitely helped his balance and he said they were comfortable. As his confidence grew he felt ready to try them in inline mode. Switching the wheels is quick and easy. They are held on by 2 bolts per skate which are easy to remove using the included Allen wrench. Once in inline mode my son spent another hour in the skates and probably would have kept going if we didn ’ t make him come in for dinner. As it got darker outside he really noticed the light up wheels and thought they were the best thing ever. Even after hours in the skates he didn ’ t have any blisters and he said they were comfortable. These skates are WAY better quality than other skates we ’ ve used. They ’ re sturdy and provide solid support while also having super comfy thick padded liners. The adjustable sizing couldn ’ t be easier and will provide years of fun.

The 2- in- 1 skates are perfect for our two daughters, ages 8& 9! We already have a two- year experience with the scooters from Yvolution 💯 and we were so happy to see they were now making skates! Both the skate and inline setups for the 2- in- 1 are working well for each kid, and it was very easy to swap the skate wheel setups out for the inline for our oldest. I love how the adjustable shoe allows for growth to happen. Our oldest was between sizes( 3- 4 US) and we landed on the middle adjustment to start for her. And now we can rest assured they ’ ll continue to fit for the next year or so. The quality and build are excellent for a kid skater, and both our girls love the colors. The purple color and the graphics are really cute – both girls love the design. Our girls are beginners, but after just a week on the inline setup, my oldest has become really confident and asks to skate every day. I would recommend this product for anyone with children learning or even having been skating for a while. We are so grateful to have found a great company for both scooters and skates! I have purchased 5 pairs of these inline skates now. My son started skating at the age of 2, and we were very happy that these skates were offered in smaller sizes than most other skates. Since that first solid black pair six years ago, I have bought two pairs for my daughter in the pink/white, a size up for my son in blue/black, and I just bought a pair of the black/pink for myself after my vintage Bladerunners met their demise. The quality is such that these skates will last for many years and can be handed down once outgrown. The sizing is adjustable and generous. The sizing as marked on the largest size is 3- 6 youth( UK sizing) with expansions for each larger size, and the size 4 setting fits my women ’s US 6. 5/UK4/Euro 37 foot. The skates are durable, the wheels and bearings can handle beginner skating up to moderate and semi aggressive skating( it is not mentioned but the bearings are ABEC 3 so probably not great for super aggressive skating), and they are easy to care for. Roces is a solid brand and I highly recommend these skates for kids!

I got a very very bad first roller skate as my first ever one. When I switched it with the RB Cruiser 4x80. Man..... The roller skate rolls by itself. Ahahaha almost! Comfortable as a Feather! And fast enough. I 'll upgrade it with ILQ9 bearings and Undercover cosmic lime wheels. I 'm looking forward to get my second rollerblade, but I 'm unsure which model will fit my feet better. I was looking into the Twister 3x110.... But heard it was a bit narrow. So, I got afraid. I wanted to try the same feel and fit of the cruiser, but more confort and a better fit. And, of course, increase the speed with the 3x110 wheels. Which model would you guys recommend me next? Thanks. Cheers from Brazil. JP

I love these blades! I put Hydrogen wheels and ilq9 twincam bearings in for an upgrade. I get so offended when I hear them say these are beginner blades.

These skates are great for the price. I ’ m half size so I sized up- they are too big but I ’ m hoping inserts will work. I ’ d suggest doing down if you ’ re narrow footed in between sizes- would provide better ankle support in my opinion

I 'm back on inlines after 22+ years off skates( last on 5- wheel/80mm Simmons, RacerBlades, and ProBlades in 1999- as a 10+ year ultra- distance road skater: A2A, NY100K, etc.)- and the Maxxum XT did not disappoint. Great boot, liner, height,& wheel- size@ 90mm: good support, comfortable, not too much of a jump in height( 80mm> 90mm), solid wheels& fast bearings. Extremely satisfied. If I make the jump to 110mm wheels, would plan to get these in that size( I 'd get the 125mm boots, and downsize the wheels). Rollerblade has always been a superb operation: professional, prompt, thorough, safe, and they deliver what they represent. I will definitely continue doing business with them. Thank you on all counts.
