I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

I was looking for a waterproof boot that was n't thermalized so I could wear it in a range of weather-- these are perfect. The Chaco footbed is nice and supportive, and the shaft is wide enough for easy on and off. Also love the finger loop at the back to help. I wear a size 8 or 8. 5 wide in women's and I bought the men's 7-- it fits perfectly and the width is great.

These are snug at the instep if you have “ taller ” feet; it took a few wears to start to feel comfortable, and takes a shoe horn every time to get them on. Surprisingly roomy at toe box( which is where my width is). Learher and construction seem good. Cork later at the sole makes these a bit more casual, but colorwise, plays well with all the neutrals. Good looking for a casual boot. Squeaky for first day, then not again. Haven ’ t tested waterproofing yet.

The dark brown leather is blemish free. The feeling of fit wearing thick wool socks is comfortable, no odd pressure points along the upper or side portion of the shoes. [ Have the Trail 2650 in wide size and needed new heavier boots. Since the Trail fit me well I tried the Panorama and am happy so far- I did 18k steps in one day without any break- in and had no issues. I find these very comfortable, fairly light, and excellent fit for those with wide feet. I have been happy with durability of the Trail so I 'm assuming that will be the case with these as well. About the only quirk is the tongue and lacing- it did take me some trial and error to get the right placement of tongue under the laces. Other reviewers have mentioned it so it's real, but in my opinion it just takes a little tweaking to find the right lace tension& tongue placement.

I have been buying the breeze boot for about 20 years now. I would agree that the laces need to be a bit longer so you can double tie them. On zappos web site they advertise that the 7742 has gore tex lining and vibram soles, you might want to check on that one. Other than that the boots are really comfortable.

Note: I first purchased reg width( wide, my width, was n't avail at the time) in size 8- 1/2 the boot itself fit perfect but the tops were too narrow above the ankle& rubbed my leg. I exchanged for wide width( avail after Christmas!) size 9( as 8- 1/2 were n't avail), I so wanted these boots. The top part above ankle does n't rub( yay) but the boot is way big for my foot. I bought super thick wool socks and manage but still too big on my feet, they slide as I walk. An 8- 1/2, wide- width would 've been perfect for me but I do n't believe they return 2x's. I wear them but can not walk fast in them and I 'm a NYer, oxymoronic. Highly recommend Ariat's Wexford Chelsea waterproof boots regardless! Super boots.

This is my forth pair of these shoes. I wear them every day( whether I 'm going hiking or going to work) and they me last 4- 5 years. I like them because they 're very comfortable and the GORE- TEX keeps my feet dry. They also get a great grip on the trail and protect my feet from all manner of trail hazards. On the negative side, the sole separates from the shoe after a few years. It ’s possible to glue the sole back on, but for what these cost, the soles shouldn ’ t come unglued.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I ’ ve been wearing Merrill shoes since I was in the Army. I got this particular model in 2010 and it felt like I was Spider- Man humping up and down the Hindu Kush. I also recommend the chameleons! So now that it ’s been ten years I picked up going for long walks and was wearing tennis shoes. I went back to these and love them! The only issue is my left foot toe bed was rubbing but it ’s an uncommon issue and only happened AFTER my eight miles during a cool down mile. I previously did ten miles in these and had no issue! No limping, no true pain beyond having walked ten/eight miles, no blisters. I ’ m happy the quality is still top notch since 2010.

[ Searched around a lot. Bought these because my husband has Vasques and loves them. They ’ re comfy so far( just worn around the neighborhood and a couple short 1- 2 mile hikes). Grip seems good. I wore them in some slush/ice and had no issues. I think they ’ re really attractive. Was worried that the white sole would stain easily and look junky, but so far it ’s been fine. Haven ’ t been in mud yet though. I gave the comfort 4 stars because there ’s a spot where the upper was rubbing when I was breaking them in. It ’s gotten better and I imagine it will go away once they ’ re fully broken in. I ’ m also not used to having that much ankle coverage, so it could be that that ’s affecting me.

[ So far I have hiked with these shoes a little over 20mi. I hiked Mount Monadnock two days each day around 10mi. They are very lightweight while being pretty supportive. I definitely felt confident using these shoes on the Spellman, Pompelly,& Marlboro Trails. Spellman being the steepest trail on the mountain, I had no problem climbing off trail on the steep granite slabs. I was able to use the flat toe part of the boot to to support myself while standing on small cracks in the rock like I was wearing a climbing shoe. It was awesome! I felt like a kid at the playground! Terrain was mostly dry, but there were a couple wet spots that the Megagrip sole did perform well on. Temperature was in the low 70 ’ sF. The only negative I have about the boot, is that it does not breathe well. My feet did sweat considerably wearing a lightweight synthetic sock. Both days I took my shoes and socks off at the summit and removed the Ortholite insoles to dry for a half hour in the sun and wind. The inside of the boots didn ’ t fully dry out. The Ortholight insole mostly dried, because they are very thin. Inersoles could be a little thicker to provide more cushioning, but overall my feet felt good at the end of both hikes. These are aggressive trails for breaking in new shoes, but they felt pretty good out of the box, so I went for it. I think these boots will be best for shoulder season hikes and hikes taking you above tree line. Can ’ t wait to take them to Mount Washington NH!

I 've tried Red Wing, Timberland, Wolverine... these boots are the only ones that hold up to the daily beating that I give them. I love how durable they are and how easy they are to clean. I only have 2 small complaints, but being the best boots I 've ever owned... Carhartt will still get a 5 star review. 1. The laces need replaced after roughly 3- 6 months of use because they get shredded under the duress of tying and tightening your laces daily. 2. Being waterproof comes in handy often, especially when working outside. But it does mean that if you have sweaty feet, it keeps the sweat in too. Not quite as `` breathable '' as I would want. But like I said, I 've never found a boot to do a better job. So it is what it is.

This is a replacement for a previous pair. Best work boots I ever had. I have some foot problems so I need a good arch and support too. The previous pair is about a year old and no longer water proof. This pair is running slightly larger even though it's the same size. Regardless I 'm very happy with the comfort and quality of construction. These require no break- in period while many other work boots would take a while to feel comfortable. Highly recommended.

Perfect hiking shoe
Lately seems like every shoe bothers me…. I put these on and did a 3 hour hike& wow! Can ’ t recommend enough. Perfect size& support, great color I have the light tan ones. Can ’ t wait to wear them again I am a 8. 5 but got a 9 to wear them with thick hiking socks. Perfect fit!

Purchased a couple of weeks ago and put in one 7 mile hike yesterday. They were 4 out of 5 on comfort for me- I expect them to only feel more comfortable as I break them in more. These are very comfortable boots.. They fit and feel like sneakers but have great ankle support. I do busway work for power plants, which requires a lot of climbing and crawling and these boots have held up very well over the past three jobs( total of almost six 70- ish hour work weeks) so far with no signs of degradation. They are lightly insulated for the waterproofing, so I think they could get a little warm for the hot and humid months.

I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

My first Georgia boot 😀. I ’ m 9 1/2 wide and these fit well. The collar was uncomfortable at first. They have traction in mud, snow, slush, but, not so much on ice. The waterproof feature is great to keep feet warm and dry. I have a hard time with shoes fitting and not falling apart. Only had a month but so far I ’ m very happy. I love the way they look and the colors. I wear work boots often and will be looking into Georgia brand( wide width, nice colors, and stylish, please). I bought these on sale. Only gripe they could use a little more padding but if they don ’ t fall apart I ’ ll buy more.
