I got these shoes in the neptune colorway and get lots of compliments when I wear them. They fit true to asics sizing. They are very comfortable to walk around in, not as good as real sneakers, but better than a lot of lifestyle ones. Like all asics, there's no arch support. The insole is n't removable, but I find a thin black superfeet support fits just fine without crowding. Adding the arch support on all my asics helps make them a lot easier on my feet.

This is the `` goldilocks '' between the Novablast 3 and 4 and my favorite version of the three. Best version of the tongue. It's gusseted, a bit stretchy, preforated, and a touch of padding at the top to help prevent lace bite. The upper is a bit more breathable, and traps a bit less heat. The best version of the midsole. It's a bit less firm than the 4, better energy return than the 3, and they got rid of the excessive protruding heel from the 4. It's surprisingly flexible for a high- stack midsole, so you can use this for runs, jogging or walking. Very versatile, quite stable and I like the `` track club '' color way.

I showed up to a 5k and realized I 'd forgotten my race day shoes. There was a store nearby so I picked these up for the race. The fit was great. I have a narrow foot and these were perfect. The upper is stretchy and comfortable. Midsole was well cushioned, but firm and stable. I would n't call them plush, but I expect they 'll do fine for runs to 10 miles or so. There is a big rocker in the forefoot and quite a bit of toe spring. Felt like it was rolling me forward, but nothing extreme and no pains. Finished the 5k within the top 10%. Not a personal best, but not the shoes fault. This is an excellent shoe. Probably not the best choice for a 5k, but reasonable. Not sure where they fit in my rotation, but daily trainer, tempo day or maybe even an occasional interval day will probably be fine.

Great every day running shoe. Not built for racing but absolute cruiser that will take care of your legs. The dual layer foam setup is soft but stable while being very smooth. Not a lot of bounce but a lot of roll with a perfectly placed rocker. I believe the magic is in the rocker position and grade combined with the midsole setup. I was consumed with the Nova and Superblast so I didn ’ t try the first version. Probably a good thing. I ’ m surprised by just how much I like this shoe. My all time favorite every day trainer/ long run shoe.

Post 4- mile run. You can tell these shoes are ment for distance, long runs, 6+ miles. A friend ran a marathon in them and the consistency of comfort stayed the whole race. I just bought a pair for a half marathon coming up. They are not built for speed or a ton of action. They do have some action and forward propulsion but the shine in stability got longer than normal runs. Maybe go 0. 5 size up, they are slightly more snug than the Nova Blast 4s. just barely though. Overall 9/10 for what they are meant for.

For the price I got these shoes for compared to other court shoes I ca n't complain. This is my first pair of court shoes and I noticed a significant difference in how I played after using them. They were comfortable and stable compared to my running shoes before. I bought my first pair for$ 45 on sale and I 'm currently looking to get my second pair now 6 months later now that my first pair finally has a hole on the sole. I play 4- 7 days a week and about 3- 4 hours a day if that gives you any idea on how durable they are. I also am not one of those players that slides around like crazy. I occasionally do. I unfortunately ca n't compare them to other court shoes but I really have no desire to spend$ 100+ for court shoes that I know will get beaten to a pulp from wear and tear. These shoes are worth every penny.

Extremely well cushioned shoe for those long runs or recovery runs. Took them from the box straight to the treadmill at the gym for 7 miles.
