[ This camping blanket is perfect for being outdoors. It keeps you dry and keeps heat in. It ’s water resistant. You can close yourself up in it or use it like a regular sleeping bag. The color is great in case you need it for being rescued. It makes it easier to see you. Also you can use it on tough terrain and not worry about it getting ripped or tore because it ’s resistant to that also.

[ I decided to try this out once I received it. It's a nice, lightweight package that's easy to get out and put back up. The material itself seems very durable with waterproof outside fabric, and it was surprisingly less noisy than I thought it would be. It did a great job warming me up quickly and keeping me that way. This is great for camping, or even just packing for outdoor adventures in an emergency or `` just in case '' kit. Highly recommended!

[ Went camping and it was colder than expected. Did n't want to freeze and get sick so I pulled my bivvy out and let me tell you I could n't have been any warmer. The insolation on this is top notch and potentially saved me life and for that, with the price, would suggest anyone to have one for that just in case moment. You never know when you could need it and could save your life.

[ This is a great product and works great as promised. I travel around the US for work and it has me sleeping in my Van most of the time, during the colder weather I was looking for something that would keep me warm and cozy. This is great, already used it and it kept me warm all night

[ I love to go camping with my family during the year and I always want to make sure we are all safe and prepared. That being said, this blanket provides me with a lot of relief as I know that it will help us in times of need. We have already used it once when husband was going out for a camping trip. His tent got a bit too cold for his liking and took this escape tent out of the bag and got in it. He said it was insanely warm and warmed him up where he got back under his normal blanket in no time. He was impressed with how warm the blanket is inside when it is so lightweight. While lightweight you can tell the high quality of this blanket, it is very durable and will last a long time. I will carry this in my trunk during the winter season in case we get in a snow storm. I am very impressed with the safety of this blanket.

I spent the summer in the Southern Utah desert doing fieldwork. This bivy was great when the bugs got bad. I slept easy knowing I would n't wake up snuggling a snake or scorpion. The bivy is easy to set up, super light, and seems to be durable enough... I 've spent about 25 or so nights in it with no issues.

This product is light, relatively compact, quite robust, and does its job well. If you are looking for an ultralight replacement for a tent this is a good start, I would probably pack a rain fly or tarp just incase. Just make sure you are looking for a bug net, because this product obviously does n't retain heat, stop rain, or allow for another friend inside( unless y'all are lovin all night). I Im excited to test it out more with the upcoming season.

Tyson
Waterproof or not, you 're going to use a tarp if you camp in a bivy- have you ever tried to bed down in the rain without a tarp and realized that all your kit gets soaked and now you have a cold and wet night ahead of you? This is why tarps are essential when bivy camping. That said, this solves the condensation problem that you 'll experience with all bivy bags. This bivy is super light, easy to use, roomy enough for my rectangular mattress and packs down to nothing. If you 're one step away from no bivy at all, but still want protection from bugs, this is the product for you. Disclaimer: if you 're using this in bug season you 'll probably end up realizing that you should have brought a tent. That extra room when dealing with an onslaught of black fly's and mosquitoes is peace of mind when camping. In other words, bring the right kit for the job.

Paired with my Sil Shelter tarp and the shelters I used my bug bivy to great effect to hike the AT in 2001. I used it again this summer in the Cascades and it's holding up after 19 years. Love it.

[ 'Wow' This sleeping bag is so great! I will never buy a synthetic sleeping bag after this. I 'm One person over 6' 4 and I fit really comfortably as one person. [ Great sleeping bag. Light and packs well with the smaller stuff sack that comes with the big stuff sack. My partner and I slept in this in 30- 40 degree weather and we both felt warm enough to unzip the leg section so Im sure it can go lower! I run hot and my partner runs cold.

Marmot paid attention to detail. From the zippers that glow a bit at night, to the foot vents, this is a perfectly warm, light weight two person bag that is great for snuggling. We just tested it out for the night outside in our tent and enjoyed it a lot. The big single hood closes pretty snugly and with a beanie my head was warm. The side zippers helped me keep my partner warm when exiting the sleeping bag. Highly recommend!

[ Just took this bag on a 12 day trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in Mew Mexico. On the nights when the temperatures dipped into the 30s, this bag kept me very comfortable when zipped up properly. On warmer nights, I unzipped the bag about 30 percent to let a little air in. The best part was that the bag is extremely light and compress down very small in a compression sack to take up very little room in my backpack and could even be clipped on to the outside of the pack without any noticeable swinging while I hiked.

[ I luckily bought the long model even though the normal one is for up to 6'. Very glad I did that. As my first sleeping bag, I got advice from so many people. Some told me to adhere to the temp rating, some said get a lower rating and just sleep on top of it if it's hot. I should have listened to my more experienced friend about sleeping on top. Temps dropped to 40 and I wish I got a bag that was rated even 20 or below. I was wearing just a t- shirt and running pants to sleep and everyone said I ought to just wear more to bed, but I like being less restricted when sleeping. The bag was just enough but would have liked to be a bit warmer. I ended up wearing running pants and a merino base layer to sleep for 50 degrees and it was fine. The material was nice, soft, and light. I appreciated the zips a lot but did n't get to try the split zip at my legs. Highly recommend for the quality!

Before purchasing this sleeping bag, I too often fell asleep on my couch in front of the TV. Nothing wrong with that, but with temperatures beginning to drop at night I would be awakened by being chilled. First of all, you NEED a liner for your sleeping bag. If you wash your bedding at home once a week—that being under ideal hygienic conditions where you shower every single day—you really do n't want that funk getting into your expensive sleeping bag! That's where a liner really helps! This liner is an upgrade for me. I 've been using a Sea- to- Summit Comfort Blend for several years, and I 've really liked that product a lot. But I thought a back- up liner might be nice. But I was really blown away with how nice the Breeze liner is! Mine is the regular Mummy style, and I really appreciate the soft, wicking material that the Breeze is constructed from. Apparently it's a similar material as the Tek towels( I think…maybe its one of the other towels?). I sleep hot, and I sweat a lot at night, so drawing that moisture off is a really nice feature. To help regulate my comfort( including at home) I usually stick my feet out of the end of the bed( and of the liner), so the opening at the bottom is actually a really welcome feature! Yeah…I do n't wander the campsite in my liner, but I suppose you could if you wanted to. To each their own! Anyhow, I really love my new liner. What WAS going to be a spare is now my go- to!

Rachel
I do n't normally give five stars, but I really like this product. I have the mummy version and love the drawstring bottom and snaps at the top. The snaps at the top mean you can have your arms free which is great for people who sleep with their hands behind or above their head. It is so easy to wash compared to a sleeping bag. I also have a Reactor liner and the Breeze liner is noticeably cooler to the touch. This is a great product for camping on warm summer nights!

I 'm a hot sleeper plus I live in Texas, so this liner will honestly be enough even without the sleeping bag most of the time. I also love the idea of being able to use it in hotels or in travel situations if I 'm concerned about cleanliness. It's easy to pack and takes up almost no space. I 'm so happy to have this liner.
