I bought this a good bit into learning goalie, previously using a bad team stick with the stock net on that thing. I bought this based off a recommendation from my goalie coach, since he used this stick to get like 20+ D1 offers back when he was in high school. This stick is firm and durable, has good grip, amazing balance, and is the perfect goalie stick! I HIGHLY recommend!!!
5

Great stick for a reasonable price. Research showed a number of the top NCAA goalies use this stick.
5
LaxGoalMom
Bought my daughter this stick after she tested several throughout her Varsity Lacrosse season, and this was BY FAR her favorite. The mattte shaft almost has a grip feel to it, and the curved head requires far less break in time. This stick deserves all the love it ’s getting from lacrosse goalies across the country.
4
Bmaclax
I bought this as a replacement to my OG Eclipse I had for five years. The head is a lot stiffer compared to the original, which works well for stopping the crease crankers of the world. I have always been a fan of the Outlet shaft and the stick is very light overall. I like the “ sandpaper ” grip on the shaft, but with gloves on and 90 degree heat, it doesn ’ t work as well as old fashion tape to stop your hands from slipping. The throat is a little more chunky and takes some getting use to in terms of top- hand placement and grip. If you are purchasing this as a “ complete stick ”, do yourself a favor and rip out the old mesh and replace it with some Grizzly 2S. The factory string job and mesh were horrible. It looked like they formed the pocket using a 15 pound bowling ball. No channel, way too deep, too much whip, and it threw like garbage. It ’s a solid stick for all levels of play, but again, depending on how you grip the throat of the head hold, it might be too big for smaller/younger keepers.

Overall Gait Lacrosse is a great brand for elite players who are looking to up there game. with its light weight hold and bullnose head shape this stick is great for attackers and mid fielders. Though the some versions of the apex 2 head is illegal for play. As gait stares on there website `` YOU MAY HAVE SEEN A RECENT ADVISORY ISSUED BY USA LACROSSE REGARDING THE APEX 2 WOMEN ’ S LACROSSE HEAD. WE WOULD LIKE TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT. THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS OF THE APEX 2: VERSION 1 AND VERSION 2. BOTH WERE BUILT WITH THE SAME ELITE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS, BOTH PASSED LAB TESTING, AND BOTH WERE DESIGNED USING DIRECT PLAYER FEEDBACK. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM IS A SLIGHT CHANGE TO THE SIDEWALL STRINGING HOLES. DESPITE NO SAFETY OR PERFORMANCE CONCERNS, USA LACROSSE HAS OPTED TO APPROVE ONLY VERSION 2 FOR USE IN NCAA, NFHS, AND USA LACROSSE- SANCTIONED PLAY. THE DECISION WAS MADE WITH LITTLE WARNING, WITHOUT COLLABORATION, AND WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING FAIR TIMING FOR US TO SET UP A PROPER REPLACEMENT PLAN WE WOULD NEED TO MAKE THIS AS SEAMLESS AS POSSIBLE. THE ADVISORY WAS POSTED PUBLICLY IN THE MIDST OF YOUR HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE, AND CLUB SEASONS, CREATING UNNECESSARY CONFUSION AND DISRUPTION ACROSS THE LACROSSE COMMUNITY. '' So I would check your sticks

I started playing lacrosse 3 years ago and bought this stick after 1 year of playing. I play defense for high school lacrosse as well as high school club lacrosse. I started playing lacrosse with a cheap$ 90 stick and bought this stick to upgrade, and it truly made a huge difference. I would 10/10 recommend. The stick is very lightweight, has a matte finish that is easy to hold, and did not take very long to break in. I had multiple teammates who play for national teams test the stick out and loved it as well. I have seen other teammates at club lax use this stick as well. I am not one to typically write reviews, however, I wanted to inform anyone who is considering buying this stick that it is amazing.
