I have been familiar with Chacos for awhile and how they are very popular due to their quality and functionality. The problem was that all of the models I saw were way to chunky and heavy and with me being a minimalist footwear fan I just couldn ’ t get with them. However, when I saw these and read some of the reviews and saw that they were less beefy and light my reason for not getting a pair of chacos was gone. I love this sandal, it ’s stylish and practical and pretty light to boot. If there was any critique I would give it would actually be for Chaco to add a huarache type sandal to the line up. You ’ ve gained a new fan in me!

I love the color scheme and I love the comfort, I am primarily a minimalist shoe/sandal person, but I needed something with just a little more protection for hiking in areas that are a little rocky and sharper. I Was hesitant to try Chaco ’s because all of the styles that I saw were super thick and very heavy. This new style so far is light, allows my toes displayed comfortably, and feels very natural on my feet. If I Could make one slight change, it would most likely be to get rid of the toll loop and make this more of a huarache style. Other than that, I am a fan.

Yea they look great in deed. But they do not fit me what so ever. Apparently I bought two pairs of chocos as a new customer and had a poor experience concerning fitment with both sandals. Both the low down slides and a pair of the sandal version are n't exactly what I expecting( which was the perfect sandal) This blue is awesome. They look so good but i just cant walk 5 feet without them falling off. It 's amazing how my feet just wont form into them. It does n't work for me. I really needed the back strap with these slides. Another thing is they are not `` true slides '' in the sense of the word. I had to loosen and tighten the straps every time when putting them on. That alone was a dealbreaker. I have n't send them back. I give good reviews because im not knocking a company for how they do n't work for me. Somebody might fit in these things. Again I cant stress enough how cool they look but I just ca n't manage to work with them. I recommend you try them and share your experience. God bless.

I need arch support to NOT have foot pain. These are great. One issue I had was that the adjustable strap was too long, as my foot is not `` very tall. '' When I tightened the adjustable strap, the strap hit the floor/ground. So, I took them to a shoe repair shop and had the straps shortened by 1 inch. Now, they are perfect for my feet.

These are the best shoes I ’ ve ever owned. Sadly I can ’ t find my size or the olive/taupe color scheme I love anywhere. I ’ ve had my pair for about 4 years and use them often to hike along wet slippery rocks looking for arrowheads as well as walk in the water with them. They dry quickly and grip well and would love to get another pair just like the ones I have. The heel on the right one is starting to go out after years of use and abuse. Well made shoes that perform better than advertised.
