I 've been gaming this 2 iron for the past month or so. Helps when I 'm on a tee box with a narrow fairway and my driver is too risky. Have n't had a complaint yet other than it does launch a little higher than I expected it too. May be a problem on windy days but I have n't had many windy days to test it out. I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

Hopped in the bay and hit the ZX5 MK2, ZX7 MK2, 243 Pro, 245 Pro, Cobra King Tour. The ZX5 was all around by far the most consistent. They all had nice feel but the Mizunos were just a little too hot for my taste( especially the 245; it's def for distance) and did n't spin as much. The ZX5 spun most, had the steepest landing angle, and best distance dispersion. I 'm coming off a players iron from several years ago, which I hit pretty well, but the forgiveness and consistency of these is very apparent.

I opted for the Nippon 950Neo on the new HMP after a Mizuno fitting at GG. Many times advertising is more hype than reality, but not this time. The G730 is EVERYTHING AND MORE that Ping says they are. The player friendly design shines in all facets. Off center hits are more on line and center hits explode off the face. I am seeing 5- 6 yards more carry on average. Mid to high handicappers should STRONGLY consider this iron. It ’s truly a game changer!

I just did a fitting today and the G730 was the winner( and the only club close to it was the G440). We tried the Alta Quick 45 shaft, which worked great( in my 60's and my top swing speed is around 75mph but often 70mph). But then we dropped to the Quick 35 and it was even better. I went from hitting my existing irons( QI but customized to 2 up and 2 strong) 120- 130 carry with a strong push to the right to hitting these 155 and straight/draw. My total distance was in the 170's, which I did n't think I 'd ever see again. They just seem to whip through the shot and the sound is perfect and I was hitting baby draws instead of way right. Honestly these were n't on my radar when I walked in for the fitting. I 'm glad the fitter brought this out to try. Only negative is they may not be the best looking irons but I could n't care less.- they are amazing and fit me perfectly.

I just got into golf about 9 mo. ago- I 'm currently a 27 hdcp, and struggled to hit my 7i 130- 140yds previously. I was looking to get out of my previous Callaway Edge box set that had graphite shafts. They became too light for me and I wanted to grow into a new set of irons as I navigate swing changes and proper technique. During my fitting I did n't have a specific brand in mind, to be honest these were n't even on my radar. After testing out 4- 5 brands it was a tight race between the Ping G440's and the Elyte's. I found the Elyte irons were exactly what I was looking for. They check all the boxes: look, feel, and sound great. These irons have a slimmer profile compared to most game improvement irons out there yet offer an insane amount of forgiveness. They definitely have a softer feel off the face, almost like they 're forged. I got my goal yardage from these clubs and it was a done deal after that. Ironically enough my set arrived a few hours before my first tee time of this early season. Quite the way to break in a new set of irons. I was previously playing with Cleveland Launchers because I struggled to get long iron shots in the air. So I was a bit nervous to move to irons that have such a players- distance- like profile. But holy cow, these things send the ball into the stratosphere! Now, with the Callaway AI Smoke irons I 'm hitting greens from distances I did n't even know existed. Be patient if you are coming from a super game improvement iron, it took me about 2 weeks to adapt to the weight and feel of the smokes. I got the 5i- SW. I was afraid of 5 irons, and now it ’s my favorite club hitting greens from 180 yards. And the wedges? Get the PW, AW, GW, and SW! I am chipping over trees, bunkers, water, and even my self- doubt. I am in my mid 70's so my swing is not what it used to be( a low single digit handicap 25 years ago is now about 14). A fitting plus some work with a launch monitor suggested that I 'd benefit from lighter clubs and softer shafts. The Cobra F- MAX Superlite Irons are just what the doctor ordered. They have lightweight graphite shafts( senior flex), somewhat weaker lofts than most modern irons and even have softer midsize grips that are ideal if you have arthritus problems. I find that I hit them about 5- 10 yards further than my old irons( Ping G410's) and more importantly hit them more consistently. The final positive was price. At$ 450 these clubs are a terrific bargain. If you are in the market for `` old man '' clubs, these Cobras are a good choice.

The ball jumps off the face so effortlessly that I do n't always feel like I hit it solidly, but then it is flying exactly where it should be. I bought this set with a bit of skepticism, but they were by far hitting better in the bay than TM, Ping, Callaway, and Mizuno Irons. I have more distance, spin, control, forgiveness and FUN with these irons than any I have ever played. I am a mid- handicapper at a 12, but I doubt I will ever want to swing different Irons at any point in my golf career. The light, stiff shaft are great at getting the ball in the air, and the spin rates are off the wall good. I wen 5i- gw and might add a custom 4i as well since I am so happy.

Both the irons and driver are easy to hit, getting more distance without over swinging, and the clubs just feel right. After spending some time at the driving range, I hit the course and shot a 78. The most noticeable improvement is how the ball flies off the club face when hit pure and off- center hits still fly well due to the forgiveness, which was important to me as an average golfer.
