[ This was actually a purchase my brother made( I already have the same setup) we both think it ’s fantastic for a luxury campout in your hammock. Of course it ’s a little extra to carry around but it ’s car camp intended. I ’ ve started recently using mine as a tent for me and my 4 year old. Sizable enough for one person to sleep underneath the hammock child or adult. Had an average sized male use the bottom section a few weeks ago. I personally bought an extra footprint for shoes and pack to be outside the tent especially in this scenario( also adds an additional layer of water protection/warmth in colder wetter month for the sleeper underneath)

With no way to stake it down so I did have to add some weights inside to keep it secure. There is a lot of floor space for belongs. The tent could be a bit taller as I hit my head on the top and I 'm only 5' 1. Could be a bit wider as well for those that like a more diagonal lay. But all in all I 'm very happy with it. Even my cat likes that he can officially be outside.

I receive my shelter system a couple of weeks ago and finally got to test it out last weekend with my stand. I returned the Guardian bugnet I bought and the Housefly too. i won my ENO Doublenest from work, and down the rabbit hole of hammock life I went. [ My wife and I wanted some sort of shelter for car camping that we could cook under. Most tarps are larger than what we need, but this is perfect. Setup is a breeze using the three poles. There are various options for attaching the front to your vehicle. Two stakes allow for attaching the rear. We set it up with our Rav4 hatch open and have no problems opening/closing the hatch with the shelter in place. There's lots of space underneath for cooking and hanging out. One could easily fit four camp chairs under this if needed. We 've only used it twice, but experienced torrential downpours on both occasions and remained perfectly dry sitting underneath it and chilling out. One of the best shelter investments I 've made in the last 45 years.

Our young family loves a day at the beach and this sun shelter is the ultimate homebase! I ordered this screen house online at our local Dick's store to take advantage of a local discount offered through our town. I appreciated the ability to compare several other sizes, folded up and unfolded, which led me to go for this size. It showed up nearly a week EARLIER than the estimate given when ordered, and my wife and I immediately took it to our back yard to try to set it up for the first time. The instructions were clear enough and we thought we were all set, but discovered that we had inadvertently allowed a portion of the roof to be turned back over one of the roof/wall intersections. Once we fixed that, it literally popped up into shape. Even with that self- inflicted delay, we had it up in well under 5 minutes. Take down was equally easy. The main reason we went with this screen house was that our previous screen house top was held up by 4 crossing poles which did NOT support the center and turned the old house into a rain- trapping, useless mess. Not so with this design. It supports the mid- point of the roof so it drains. Looking forward to using it when we camp later this summer.

I have n't used this at the beach or in high winds yet, so I ca n't comment on its durability in those conditions. I 've used it in moderately winter conditions though( 15 mph or so) without issue. I spend an enormous amount of time at my kids' outdoor sports events, especially soccer where there is no shade. This umbrella is perfect for that. Two folding chairs will fit under this even without the ground stake pole attached. Just open it like an umbrella and throw it on the ground and it's ready to go. But if there is wind, you 'll want to use the included anchors. It's also very light for the long walks to the field.

We were ablet to stay sheltered with our group of friends when it rained or when the mosquitos decided to attack! I loved hearing the rain fall onto the roof of it and see it from the side panels, but not get drenched! It really made our camping experience that much more pleasant! [ My first reaction to opening this was `` Oh my gosh, this is so big, I 'm never going to use it ''. Well folks, I was wrong. Backyard party at the house? Used it. Trip to the beach? Used it. Tailgate for a hockey game? Yep. Camping trip? Absolutely. This tent is high quality and versatile. It was a little intimidating to set up initially due to the size, but once my partner and I understood how the quick- set worked, it was a breeze to set up and take down! I absolutely LOVE this tent. My friend that was 6' 0 was so happy to have a tent he could fully stand up straight in, and it kept out all of the bugs when we went to the beach. It folds up to about the same size as an easy up( maybe just a bit longer), and it light enough for one person to carry. I have n't tried to set it up by myself yet, but with two people it's super easy. I imagine that one person could do it alone, but it might be a little tricky just due to the large size and number of walls that it has. The tie downs work great, though I do want to mention that when we took it to the beach on a windy day after a big storm, we used industrial sized stakes to stake it down since we did n't want to take a chance on it blowing away. It never had a single issue with the wind, and kept everyone( and the dogs!) shaded and happy!
