I own serveral rangefinders. Mostly a bushnell guy, but I decided to give this a try. It works great and if you have the garmin golf app it can give you a better location of where the pin is in relationship to the green.

I bought a Garmin Z82 a couple of years ago and have really enjoyed the rangefinder. One troubling issue has been the inability of the rangefinder to link with Android phones for more than 15 minutes, rendering the advanced wind reporting functions useless. They recently came out with software upgrades that seem to fix the issue. Love the unit and all features now work. Would definitely recommend the rangefinder- great display and excellent features.

This rangefinder gives me everything I need on the course from distance to on course obstacles to precise distances to the pin. It has really help me to be more concise on my approach shots and closer to the hole means fewer putts.

Best Golf GPS/Laser Rangefinder on the Market. Since it uses a digital camera, you do n't have any of the difficulty with finding the range of the pin due to your shakiness. Plus with the combination of having he GPS overlay, you have the best of both worlds. I wo n't use any other product.

This thing allows me to plan shots like never before. The additional information overlay on the map allows for a much more informed club choice. I have had no hiccups so far. Out side of a massive mis hit into another fairway, the z80 knows what hole you are on and provides accurate yardage. We have tested the yardage against other range finders and course yardage markers along with known club choice distance. it is dead on.

Have only been using this for a few rounds. Nothing like I have used before. Complete layout of each hole, elevation, a blind pin feature, lay- up measurements and measurements of each green. The learning curve gets easier and easier with each use. A bit on the expensive side but with all the features I believe it is justified considering some rangefinders, without all Z80's features, are just as expensive. I would definitely recommend the Approach Z80.
