My boys were able to fold and carry them easily( parents aren ’ t allowed close to the pool), they don ’ t take up too much room so I can fit two easily into the car, the fabric doesn ’ t seem to absorb water so I can pack them up quickly and not have to worry about air drying before packing and storing and my boys thought they were very comfortable. They set up in about a minute once you get used to the process and are so comfortable. If it was colder I would line the ventilated seats and backs with a blanket. They are tippy until you get used to them but it ’s not a big deal since you ’ re so close to the ground; also, all lightweight camp chairs are tippy. Too big to bring backpacking( don ’ t pack down small enough for a backpack) but definitely the right chair for a canoe trip!

Love these! Great for a day at the park, beach or even camping. I 've used them on kayak paddles overnight and they are compact and lightweight enough. I have n't used them on overnight hikes as they are still a tab heavy and bulky, but perhaps good enough for a short overnight. Assembly is quite easy once you follow the instructions and use a bit of brain power. Slip on the top loops first and one of the bottom loops, Flip the chair on to its side with the attached part on the bottom and use the ground as leverage to flex the top pole and slip the 2nd bottom piece on.

We have happily owned and used: for sporting events, parks, basically even for quick additional seating for teen video gaming in our livingroom. HOWEVER- though the pockets for poles were stiff initially when we first got this chair and put it together- We left it put together and used it in our house for probably 30- or so times of sitting in over a few weeks. Ta- Da- the fabric, where the poles insert, stretched some and the chair is now `` normal easy '' to put together and take apart. The fabric has held up nicely after repeated use. The chair is comfy; some choose to use with the neck roll, while others remove( for gaming, our TV is up above the fireplace, so that's when the neck roll was removed). Very lightweight, handy little storage bag- we hook the handle of the storage bag through one of the poles that go into pockets which helps us keep track if it. Even for a teen- this and a hammock is what they are camping with.

I saw this chair at an outdoor function and was impressed. I finally purchased one and have used it once. It is comfortable and rocks easily and it's so convenient with the tray table attached. But the best feature is the ease to setup and close! It is a bit heavy to carry though.

I understand the phone holder and cup holder. There's 2 cup holders in case one's cup has a handle. There's a third squiggly tray thing I have no idea what it's for. That's the only negative thing. The GCI Outdoor Roadtrip Rocker is an excellent chair that sits on the fence between an `` A '' or a `` B ''. Just a couple extra credit assignments and it firmly passes with straight A's. This chair is very comfortable and does a surprisingly good job as a rocking chair. The back is tall enough to lean back and feel supported. It is wide enough be bundled up in blankets and still have room. There are two things I 'd like have changed slightly. If you are sitting up to a table, or even just forward on the chair it is a bit too relaxed. Lastly, be prepared for a fairly large item when folded. Getting all this comfort into a bag poses a big challenge. Well done GCI!

This chair feels sturdy, it has weight to it and is comfortable. Im a bigger boy at 250lbs and I feel like im not going to blow through it. Other rocker camp chairs have a whine or squeal to them. I have not had that experience with this chair. My wife and I keep them in the garage of our camper. Their folding design works great for some smaller spaces. This is for sure a chair you are not hauling far from the truck or camper. Highly recommend if you are the on the fence.

Spent a good hour at Dick's teying out every chair. I 've had back issues for years with a bulging disk. The high back to rest your head and the ability to rock is great. Its a little heavier but i think that speaks to the build quality of the chair.
