I found that these bras are incredibly comfortable/soft for both long- distance running and casual use. [ I ’ m a huge fan of the Alate longline sports bra! I usually find sports bras either overly uncomfortable and compressive, or not providing adequate support. I think this bra strikes the perfect balance between comfort and support! It ’s my favorite sports bra to wear during my yoga practice. The material is so soft and breathable, and the bra stays in place while I ’ m moving. The longline style works really well under shirts( it doesn ’ t have a noticeable outline at all) but offers enough coverage for me to wear just with leggings, too. I found it to be really true to size( as a DD cup size). No obvious cons of this product— just expect it to work better for lower intensity movement, since it offers relatively less compression than other styles.

It has perfect coverage. I did n't find the neckline dipping down throughout my workout. The support is incredible for medium- impact workouts( weightlifting/pilates/yoga). I use this sports bra mainly for yoga. I love its simple design and soft material. It goes with all my Nike leggings. It fits true to size. My chest is size 34C and I bought a size small. It stays in place during my yoga session and keeps my chest secure with out putting pressure on it like some sports bras. I think it had a very flattering appearance on.

Just ran my third marathon, and I chose a new sports bra because I wanted something to hold my phone( I hate running races with a running belt, and my shorts had a little too much bounce)! This sports bra held my phone in place to the point where I was never rudely reminded it was there. Also, it's quite easy to get your phone in and out of, which is a huge plus! In terms of chafing, which is what I was honestly most worried about for this bra for this long of a distance, I did n't notice anything painful during the race or after, so it gets an A+ for that! One thing I will note is that it can be a little restrictive. I 'm not too well- adorned in the breast department, so I did n't have much of a problem, but it is highly supportive, and that may come with some unwanted compression!

I love the material of this bra, it gives great support with a light feeling fabric and structure and even better is that it didn ’ t chafe even on a 20 mile run. I haven ’ t made much use of the pockets as I usually run with a rucksack, but I love the shape and look and the option of the pockets. My only negative is that for a pretty seam free bar not sure why it needed such a large label.

I specifically go hunting through the racks for these tank tops. They have that almost seamless quality that I can not get enough of! They are very stylish with joggers, a flirty fun fit. They ’ re thin but not thin as in bad quality, thin as in almost one with your body and no bulky suffocating band underneath. Buttery smooth and may I say definitely better fit than my LuLu tops. So I 'm one of those weirdos that only wears sports bras, and have for my entire life. I hate traditional bras and I love compression-- like, the flatter the better. I do n't want to feel any movement in my chest area. I 've also been `` blessed '' with boobs that just want to flop and have a tendency to stretch out all of my sports bras. For reference, I 'm 5' 5 '', ~138 lbs and I 'm around a 32 D. Medium is perfect for me. The only caveat is that most of my activity leans toward medium impact-- I 'm a climber, so I take lots of hard bouldering falls and spend long days in the mountains, but I do n't do much sustained high impact activity like running or crossfit, so if either of those are your jam, take my recommendation with a grain of salt.:) Anyway, I 'm 6 months into wearing this bra daily, and I love it so much. I was a little leery of the adjustment buckles on the front before trying it on, but they 're actually very slim and low profile. I do n't notice them and I have n't had to adjust them yet, and they do n't stand out under my shirts. The amount of compression is just right-- snug but comfortable, like a hug. The mesh is breathable, wicks well, and so far has been impressively odor- resistant. Best of all, no flopping! It's the first sports bra I 've owned that I can wear all day, transitioning from activity to activity, and have n't felt like I 'm either being suffocated or drowning in my own sweat. I can spend a strenuous day hiking or climbing, sweat a bunch, and come back into civilisation without feeling like I need to change right away because it dries super quickly and amazingly(!), does n't stink or give me rashes. And I have n't even managed to stretch it out yet-- it still feels almost as snug and comfortable as when it was new. I 'm honestly impressed with the combination of performance, durability, and comfort. Most of my sports bras start out great but become borderline unusable after a few months and a couple of washes. Not this one. For me, personally, this is a winner-- I 'm a convert and it might be the only bra I buy from here on out.

I just purchased my third Alate bra. The newest update seems to have a slightly thicker back band and bigger clasp, which makes it easier to close and offers a bit more support than my other ones. The straps are stretchy and super comfortable, while also being adjustable. I wear these bras everyday, they are so comfortable! It ’s great that I can go straight to a low impact workout like walking or hiking without having to use a separate sports bra. I ’ ll be coming back for more colors soon!
