100% better than my cheap cap weights, you can grip it better with the bigger diameter bar, when you do military presses over head the weights do n't spin on the bar as my cap weight did, weights slides on and off the bar really good, and the bumper coating is really good.

After some difficulties with receiving all of the pieces during the delivery, I love the product. Originally the bar was missing but came a week later and the plate shipment came with different collars( speed ring?) instead of the spring rings. I 'm not sure which I prefer

I bought this about a month ago. It's a great looking set. The bar is heavy duty. And the plates a metal, but have a nice coating. For the price it is unbeatable. I was happy to see the plates were packaged separately by weight. And the bar was even in a box.
