I 'm not saying these are nicer than Maui Jim sunglasses but I like how these fit my face a little better and do n't hit my the top of my ears. The old ones zippered securely shut and had a clip to attach to your belt or pack when traveling and not needing to wear the sunglasses. These are probably my favorite Maui Jim ’s so far. I love the clarity of the lenses, they sit perfectly on my face. The arms have small rubber pieces on the ends that hold them snugly to your head without feeling tight. I can run with them, sail with them and they never feel like they ’ re going to fall off. This is my second pair because I lost my first pair at a beach party that went into the night. My bad. They were so good I couldn ’ t wear anything else. I 've had these glasses for 3 years. They are ultra lightweight, you will forget they are on your face. Slightly awkward to put on one handed as they are so flexible. I have read reviews worrying about durability, absolutely nothing to worry about, I lost these in the sea, I was taken down by a huge wave and thrown onto the gravel. I had n't realised I had lost my glasses( too busy trying to save my life!) for about 15 minutes. My husband went to look for them and by some miracle found them tumbling around in the tumultuous waves in the gravel fully intact and only ever so slightly scratched. They also survived a day at a water park being shot off huge slides at great force whilst I held them. My favourite glasses.
