I 've had these glasses for 3 years. They are ultra lightweight, you will forget they are on your face. Slightly awkward to put on one handed as they are so flexible. I have read reviews worrying about durability, absolutely nothing to worry about, I lost these in the sea, I was taken down by a huge wave and thrown onto the gravel. I had n't realised I had lost my glasses( too busy trying to save my life!) for about 15 minutes. My husband went to look for them and by some miracle found them tumbling around in the tumultuous waves in the gravel fully intact and only ever so slightly scratched. They also survived a day at a water park being shot off huge slides at great force whilst I held them. My favourite glasses.

I 've always been a Ray Ban person and am partial to aviators. I have to say I 'm very impressed with these glasses and feel from a sportsman viewpoint they are superior. [ I purchased these for a trip that I would need glacier glasses. I found an online article comparing choices and I chose to try these due to the removable sides, the weight of the glasses, their multi- use design( water& snow sports) and mid range price point. Note that the all black version does NOT come with the side shields. I discovered this after I first tried the black. But I ’ m actually much happier with the look of the smoke frames with mirror lenses. The smoke is not as stark a look. I ’ m a female with medium to large female head and these fit well and look good on me. They may be big for women with smaller heads. They are so light that I barely feel them. Which is important when I ’ ll be wearing for extended periods on the water. Even with a hat on, they felt comfortable on my ears. I ’ ve never spent so much money on sunglasses before, but I can definitely feel the quality. The trip I needed them for got canceled but I decided to keep them because I like them so much and they are so versatile.
